Am I Proud?
I am proud that I had the strength to actively seek help when I needed it. I am proud that I had the resilience to survive and thrive in a world that can be very hostile to people like me. I am proud that I have accepted who I am. I am proud that I am strong enough to take chances and break down barriers. I am proud to use my spare time to volunteer and help children and youth like me and their parents to come to terms with who their children really are. I am proud to be an Australian and a Christian, but most of all I am Transgender and proud to be so. |
