It's a dangerous place to live but full of soul if you are open to living on the edge.

Possibly. I believe there's quality diamond trade in Amsterdam, but I know also in Antwerp, Belgium. Not sure which of the two is more renowned, but wouldn't surprise me if it was in Antwerp.

And small Herkimer diamonds double enders. That's as close to diamonds as it gets for me, so far, lol.

Wonder where did the SA diamonds go? From SA to Surat for cutting & polishing. Then where? Into a bank vault, to be brought out in just enough quantities to keep the price of them sky high. A sudden glut of them on the market would crash the artificially high price of them around the World!

I roadtripped with a friend from Joburg to Cape Town, she was relocating. The scenery was beautiful but we couldn't really leave our car to go hiking in the mountains or explore the areas we drove thro.
