The email is bogus and has been 'living' since the war started. As far as Starbucks, they send thousands of pounds of coffee, teas, bean grinders, french presses overseas...

I am one of the millions of partners that does so.

Understandably so.. I love the fact that I can work 20 hours a week and get HEALTH insurance for myself & family and after year, paid vacation...the free pound of coffee a week isnt too shabby either.. Now if the stocks would rise... Id grab those as well.laughlaugh

I bought a large cup of coffee at Starbucks this morning for $1.95. No bargain, for sure, but I hate the stuff McD's passes as coffee, and I was going to watch my daughter and doing the x a favor, and she loves the stuff. $6 must be for the "dessert" drinks they sell.
I don't drink 'bucks every day, I've got a coffee maker at home. Sometimes you just want something else. The local gas/convience stores have darn good coffe for about 70 cents less.

Ahhh, another Urban Legend.

I have a friend that did a tour in Iraq. Starbucks sends coffee and goodies to soldiers overseas. Whether or not they support the 'war', they do support our men and women serving our country.
