For me. If they're coming towards me, I attempt eye contact.
If they're walking away, I check their sway.

Front:
Her rack.

Rear:
Her azz.

If there swaying too much there probably drunk.

Grocery stores, laundromat, bank, paying bills, etc.

Eyes and smile. Then it is her hand to see if she already has a ring on.

no mate hunting here, but I do notice things from doing sculpture and special effects for so long....expressions, body language, eyes/eye and frontal bones-cheekbones-jawline (at a glance), then eye contact if any. It's amazing how much that can tell you about that soul, and they are ALWAYS far more than they might appear to be to an observer. It's soul deep (just like the 60's song) and endless facets, that might reflect the depth of personality all the way to the genes themselves.

This is why Looks and body shapes don't matter so much, as what love of life the person ejects.

It humbles me to see souls of such artwork that never stop moving, and beauty where one might not ever expect it... It could be in a simple gesture with a subtle expression that's only there for a second, but there it was!

It's that way for all souls, if one pays attention, from snails to whales, if one would just open one's eyes and really look. it's breathtaking.

You can truly fall in love with all dimensions of the world observing this way, I assure you.

It's something I NEVER take for granted, and it's always a humbling experience.

I'm not an Artist either... I do art, or building, but "ist" means "master of" and I never stop learning. It's all just training yourself for what you do satisfactorily, and you never stop growing at it.

Hey, on the light side, I love where you live! what a beautiful transitional place, from Steppes to high desert! just stunning, and you don't expect it to do that when you take highway 90 up that hill. I was shocked the first time.... and that incredible lake! Not to mention Roy Bean's haunts. I believe that highway is one of those places that's a must see... but only if they either respect it profusely if they stop, or just ...not get out of the damn car and leave nature alone. I can't wait to drive that again in a few weeks goin to Rodeo New Mexico if I have the time to not take I 10.

I pulled into a rest area just south of Marfa and camped. Those lights are awesome.
