I think what you're looking for is called a meat tenderizer hammer. They work well, when I was a kid my mom would pound my dad's meat often. They divorced anyway but I know it wasn't for the lack of tender meat. |

I'm making chicken cordon bleu and need one of those meat pounders to flatten out the chicken breast
I used a can, worked almost as well.
I use a rolling pin....I put the meat in a freezer bag and start whacking it until it's ready then if "comes" out of the bag.
A woman to help whack my meat.

Oh, don't worry about it! You see one of the fine points of the meat tenderizer hammer is just that. The points; they have all these little points on the hammer head that breakdown the fiber of the meat therefore leaving it more tender than before it was beat. I hope I've been helpful.
