Yes, it's the first time in my life I didn't go outdoors. but I did watch a lot of fireworks out front and back, hihi.
And I saw the girlfriend of a neighbour rush to her car 4-5 mins after 24:00?? That doesn't bode well, that's when you're supposed to still kiss each other and toast to the new year. I suppose they had a fight.
Oh well, I feeling quite festive even though I was dozing off before, hihi.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Okay you'll have to wait a bit, but still! I'm in 2020 and it feels good!

Thinking it's going to be cool taking a Spanish class with my boss this winter. I intended on taking Tai Chi but then decided only to take the classes that were one or two nights, rather than the 5 or 10 week classes. I mentioned the classes to my boss and she wants to take the Spanish one, so I committed myself to go with her. It's a 10 week class and we'll have plenty of time to practice while working. Plus a lot of the customers are Spanish speaking. I know a little Spanish, but it's pretty rusty so taking the class will be a good refresher course for me.

Thinking also that the other three classes I signed up for, that are only one night each, will be fun as well.

thinking... special effects are great, but also the reason why a 2nd season takes for bleeping ever to come out. And sometimes also shooting locations, which I don't really get. I mean, we got planes, fast trains. It's not like it takes months to get there with ships.
Yep, I hate lengthy gaps between seasons.

I downloaded the Duolingo app to learn Spanish, to surprise my friend who is coming over in March. Also learning a little bit as we have Chilean people staying with us.
Me gusta El idioma.

Thinking that whatever is preventing me from seeing the full site is driving me away.

I've done this also! The app makes learning fun imo. I also like how you can hear how words are spelled and pronounced. I haven't been practicing like I should but haven't given up...Good luck!

I'm thinking learning Spanish from someone who actually speaks it best. When learning from online or people who were taught in school is not the same as what we all speak in the real world.

I'm thinking Queenie is right. I've used Duolingo and it was nothing compared to living with and around Spanish speaking people. I learned so much more then.

Thinking the class I'm taking is conversation Spanish, it should be okay and fun. But from my experience, there are many different dialects out there, Cuban speak it differently than Mexicans, and so on... so the traditional Spanish class wouldn't be something I'm interested in.

Lol that was my grandfather's nickname. We even had a drawing made and hung for him. He taught me to speak Spanish when I was very young. He always would make me answer him in Spanish. As I got older I would say aww come on I sound funny when I speak Spanish. And he of course would say well you sound funny when you speak English too so might as well learn.
