ALVIN LEE
especially in the days when he could tear up those strings |

Shawn Lane (R.I.P.) you can check him out on YouTube.
Randy Rhodes (R.I.P.) Classically trained guy who could rock Steve Vai (Not everyone's choice, but few can do what he does) SRV (R.I.P.) Stevie Ray was just unreal Steve Stevens (Used to play with Billy Idol, GREAT player Mark Knopfler (Love the sound--lisen to Brothers in Arms.) Alexi Laiho From C.o.B. the music annoys, but the kid can play. Tim Reynolds (Plays with Dave Matthews sometimes, Amazing guy. And finally, Brother Zakk Wylde, for keeping solos alive when everyone was walking away from them!! -Drew |

Alex Lifeson (RUSH)- He is well respected, and it is deserved. But most common people don't realize how good he is. Rex Carroll (WHITE CROSS)- If you were into the Christian Metal movement in the late 80's, early 90's, then you no doubt know him and his work. Fantastic player. Jake E. Lee- He was with Ozzy on the Ultimate Sin album, and dude was just as good as Rhodes and Wylde. |
