Dozens of Palestinians face 'terrorism court' in Saudi Arabia

March 9, 2020

Saudi Arabia has put dozens of Palestinian activists on trial, accusing them of supporting the Gaza-based rulers Hamas.

According to Arabic press reports, 68 Palestinian and Jordanian citizens faced the "special terrorism court" in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, beginning on Sunday.

Families of the accused said their relatives were being prosecuted without legal representation. The detainees were arrested by Saudi secret police in April of last year.

I appreciate your input on this thread, but "Whataboutery" is pretty lame..

And it really does show that you do have all the facts, being those that have whitewashed the illegal terrorist states atrocities, having read and studied a lot.

But It's amazing how anything you post absolves the Zionist illegal occupiers of any wrong doing. It really is like some kinda magic you have hmmm.. And there we leave it.

"An unarmed Palestinian man has been shot and killed by police at one of the entrances to Jerusalem's Old City on Saturday.
Relatives named the deceased as 32-year-old Eyad Rawhi Al-Halaq from the Wadi Al-Joz area of Jerusalem.
he had autism, and the mental age of a six-year-old child, and that he was on his way to his special educational needs school when the fatal incident took place." etc etc etc..
And the list grows...

05 May 2019

This past weekend, Israelis living in the south of the country woke up to yet another barrage of rockets from Gaza. Between Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas terrorist groups launched over 600 rockets and mortars at Israelis from Gaza (as of May 5th at 6 pm).

Four Israeli civilians have been killed in the barrages. One of the casualties, Moshe Agadi, a father of four and resident of Ashkelon, was killed in one of the attacks early Sunday morning while standing outside of his home. In addition to the three other casualties, dozens have been wounded and the lives of many more have been shattered.

The terrorists deliberately aimed their rocket attacks at civilian centers and have struck Israeli roads, homes, a factory, and even a kindergarten and a hospital in the city of Ashkelon. Schools were shut throughout the south as children continued to run for shelter amid explosions.

Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip with an iron fist, is committing a double crime against humanity. It is indiscriminately attacking Israeli civilians while hiding and operating from within Gaza’s population - thus using Gazans as human shields.

A Hamas strike against Israel is in effect a strike against Gaza. The fact that Hamas routinely stores weapons and fires from within civilian neighborhoods illustrates Hamas’ utter disregard for human life and its willingness – indeed, intention – to endanger Gazans. An example of this policy occurred today, when a Hamas rocket, aimed at Israel, misfired and fell in the Gaza Strip, tragically killed a Gazan woman and her child, Falasteen Abu Arar and Saba Mahmoud.

Hamas is the culprit responsible for this recent round of escalation, triggered when a Palestinian sniper shot and wounded two Israeli soldiers at the Gaza border during a Hamas-organized riot on Friday. When the terror organization called for thousands of Gazans to riot near the fence with Israel, it was planning for events to turn violent.

Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, both internationally designated terrorist organizations, have a long, bloody history of deliberately targeting Israeli civilians. In the past, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas carried out hundreds of horrific suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings and ramming attacks, killing and maiming thousands of people in Israel. Both terror organizations are backed by Iran and have openly called for the murder of Israelis, declaring their intention to destroy Israel and establish an Islamic caliphate in its stead.

Since its violent takeover of the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian Authority in 2007, Hamas has launched upwards of 12,000 rockets and mortars into Israel. For years, Hamas has been building up its military capacities, using funds intended for Gaza’s civilians and extorting the local economy to increase its weapons stockpiles and build cross-border attack tunnels.

Israel seeks a peaceful border with the Gaza Strip, yet so long as Hamas continues to fan the flames of conflict rather than serving its own people, violence will override peace.

Israel will soon be celebrating its 71st Independence Day. For nearly three quarters of century, the State of Israel has been forced to contend with one threat after another. Despite the ongoing threats, Israel has prospered; not only has it grown from a poor to a developed nation in the span of a few short decades, it has become a global powerhouse of innovation. It has also continuously sought peace, indeed achieving peace with its neighbors Egypt and Jordan. Israel yearns for the day in which peace will be established with its Palestinian neighbors as well.

And there we have the "proof" from the whitewasher of Israeli crimes...

We have a saying here in Ireland."Forgetting a debt doesn't mean it's paid." I guess that can be said of your posts on this thread..

Keep up the good work, I'm sure your Zionist friends are very proud.

On 12 March 2018, the IDF (Israel Navy) and the ISA detained ten Palestinians, residents of Rafiah, aboard a fishing boat that had strayed beyond the fishing zone, on suspicion of collecting intelligence for – and planning – an attack on an Israel Navy vessel.

In the course of an ISA and Israel Police investigation, it was learned that one of the detainees, Amin Saadi Muhammad Jumaa, born in 1994, a fisherman, is an Islamic Jihad terrorist who – on instruction from his superiors in Rafiah – who had taken part in planning a multi-ship attack against an Israel Navy vessel.

From the investigation of Jumaa, it was learned that the plan was for one boat to serve as a decoy and lure the naval vessel toward it while a second boat attacked the naval vessel with a Cornet ship-to-ship rocket in order to kill and wound crew members. A third boat would then approach the naval vessel in order to abduct the sailors aboard for an exchange of captives.

It was also learned that Jumaa had – in the course of planning for the attack – observed naval vessels on several occasions in order to gather intelligence.

The State Attorney's Office (Southern District) will indict Jumaa today (Wednesday, 4 April 2018), in the Be'er Sheva District Court.

This was an additional link in a series of recent terrorist attacks planned and initiated by Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip including the tunnel into Israel that was demolished on 30 October 2017, mortar fire at Israel on 30 November 2017 and mortar fire at communities adjacent to the Gaza Strip on 28 December 2017, as well as additional attacks.

The above once again proves that the terrorist organizations are trying to exploit the civilian easements that Israel has repeatedly tried to enact vis-à-vis fishing in order to advance terrorist attacks that also harm the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.

The security forces – on land, sea and air – will continue their counter-terrorism efforts.

Jerusalem is indeed a "burdensome stone", but will also soon be central to major worldwide conflict. Israel will be attacked by its neighbors, but the whole world will be drawn in.

Biblically.... though the house of Judah's return to the area was prophesied, Isaiah 29 gives a dire warning of what is to come due to the actions of some whose hearts are far from God.

2Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

6In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

...but also.....

3And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.

4And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

5Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

6Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

7And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

8It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

9Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

11And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: 12And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

13Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
15Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
16Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.

An eskimo hunter asked the local missionary priest:

‘If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?’

‘No,’ said the priest, ‘not if you did not know.’

‘Then why,’ asked the eskimo earnestly, ‘did you tell me?’

In the early evening hours of March 1, 1973, eight Black September Organization (BSO) terrorists seized the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Khartoum as a diplomatic reception honoring the departing United States Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) was ending. After slightly wounding the United States Ambassador and the Belgian Charge d’'Affaires, the terrorists took these officials plus the United States DCM, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador and the Jordanian Charge d'Affaires hostage. In return for the freedom of the hostages, the captors demanded the release of various individuals, mostly Palestinian guerrillas, imprisoned in Jordan, Israel and the United States.

The Khartoum operation was planned and carried out with the full knowledge and personal approval of Yasir Arafat, Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and the head of Fatah. Fatah representatives based in Khartoum participated in the attack, using a Fatah vehicle to transport the terrorists to the Saudi Arabian Embassy.

Initially, the main objective of the attack appeared to be to secure the release of Fatah/BSO leader Muhammed Awadh (Abu Da’ud) from Jordanian captivity. Information acquired subsequently reveals that the Fatah/BSO leaders did not expect Awadh to be freed, and indicates that one of the primary goals of the operation was to strike at the United States because of its efforts to achieve a Middle East peace settlement which many Arabs believe would be inimical to Palestinian interests.

Negotiations with the BSO terrorist team were conducted primarily by the Sudanese Ministers of Interior and of Health. No effort was spared, within the capabilities of the Sudanese Government, to secure the freedom of the hostages. The terrorists extended their deadlines three times, but when they became convinced that their demands would not be met and after they reportedly had received orders from Fatah headquarters in Beirut, they killed the two United States officials [Ambassador Cleo Noel and DCM George Moore] and the Belgian Charge. Thirty-four hours later, upon receipt of orders from Yasir Arafat in Beirut to surrender, the terrorists released their other hostages unharmed and surrendered to Sudanese authorities.

The Khartoum operation again demonstrated the ability of the BSO to strike where least expected. The open participation of Fatah representatives in Khartoum in the attack provides further evidence of the Fatah/BSO relationship. The emergence of the United States as a primary fedayeen target indicates a serious threat of further incidents similar to that which occurred in Khartoum.

On 17 November 2013, Fatah published a video on its main Facebook page made by its internationally-recognized terrorist wing, Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. In the video, a masked terrorist sits on a large stockpile of over a hundred rockets and threatens Israel, stating "Praise Allah, our jihad fighters have managed to develop these rockets so they will reach the Zionist depth [Israel]." The song that accompanies the video includes the following lyrics: "Detonate your revolution of rage in their [the Israeli's] midst. Bombard them with your fire and shoot them.... Death is in your cup - make them drink!"

During last year's Ramadan period (July-August 2013), the Palestinian Authority (PA) focused on the glorification of terrorists and their attacks. Twenty-two murderers of 238 Israelis were honored. Officials, in particular PA Minister of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Karake, made almost daily visits to the family homes of terrorists. These visits were highly publicized, while PA TV broadcasts many programs glorifying the terrorists, who also had their pictures posted on the Facebook page of Fatah (the ruling party of the PA) The Ramadan holiday period traditionally sees very high TV viewership rates.

Abbas holds ceremonies honoring terrorists released from Israeli prison: After each release of convicted terrorists in the framework of Israeli measures to advance the negotiations, PA President Mahmoud Abbas has held televised public ceremonies honoring the terrorists, the vast majority of whom were convicted of murder. For example, on 30 October 2013, Abbas congratulated 21 terrorists from the West Bank after their release from prison. In a ceremony broadcast on official PA TV, he called them "our heroic brothers" and is seen embracing them. In the final shot, he is shown raising the hand of Issa Abd Rabbo, who in 1984 murdered two Israeli students who had been hiking near Jerusalem.

Unfortunately, those casualties were because cowardly PLO and Hamas operatives like to hide among citizenry and use them for human shields.

Despite the apparent absence of a direct link between the various terrorist incidents, these attacks are connected to the constant stream of incitement to violence and hatred against Israel, emanating from the West Bank, primarily through official channels related to the Palestinian Authority.

Incitement is even more harmful than "regular" hate speech. It not only delegitimizes its target, it serves to inspire violence against the victim and promote terrorist attacks.

Much of this incitement is propagated in official PA media and in many instances, by PA officials. These officials, including senior Palestinian figures, not only endorse but actually carry out acts of incitement.

Incitement and hatred toward Israel, and often Jews as well, is spread by Palestinian Authority controlled television, radio stations and newspapers as well as internet outlets. Incitement also occurs during official ceremonies, official speeches, at summer camps and in public schools. It is often aimed at children and young people.

This culture of hatred is a decisive factor in increasing both the number of terrorist attacks and their severity. Children are educated to hate Jews and Israelis from an early age, teenagers are urged to participate in violent demonstrations and stone-throwing while adults are encouraged to carry out terrorist attacks.

The connection between nurturing hatred and the increase in violence and terrorism is far from theoretical. In a recent Pew poll (10 September 2013) of global attitudes surveying the Muslim populations in 11 countries/territories, the only majority to support suicide bombings was found in the West Bank and Gaza. Over 60% of Palestinian Muslims believe that suicide bombings were often or sometimes justified (37% often, 25% sometimes). The next closest country - where support was nearly half of that of the Palestinians - was Lebanon with 33% (9% often, 24% sometimes).
