yes hangouts is google's embedded instant messenger it is google's version of skype or viber or whatsapp. all are capable of instant messaging, video and/or voice calls. the fakes and the scammers what it because they are phishing for contact info which can lead to more personal info That is why I get asked to go on there. yeppers they get paid for every address they can get. while any of those systems are great for getting to know someone, only go there after you develop some level of trust and interest here on the double blind mostly safe in house mail Thanks for the info!

welcome to Mingle not to worry...within 24 hours they will have been teleported (de-activated in earth speak) elsewhere as heed the words of motowndowntown.. Frequently they disappear faster. In the very beginning I've had dozens (maybe hundreds) contacts which were deactivated within an hour after first message... Now it becomes a lot less... |

That is why I operate in stealth mode... Even on this sight I wish I could put a cartoon picture up. The reason I am single today the ex was so addicted fell victim to a scammer looking for a green card.... He was so in love I blessed him told him to move on... then Covid-19 hit and we are stuck under the same roof living seperate lives... Well the green card girly is no more but he never learned from all his sexting and porn addiction still at it... So I chose this sight but sure wish I could use an avatar, I hacked him and the last I counted he was on 21 dating sites and hangouts Good God.... Seriously I do not think I really belong on a dating site but I like your subjects on the board I guess there is some positive to this all......

I partly blame the site... I been here for a few years and was asked to do a photo verification the other day??? Maybe if they did that to members in the first place this would be a much more pleasant place.... aand what's up with the captcha, I mean it's there but you can just simply ignore it?

Interesting, because I usually have that experience with the males. Then again all of those who wanted to go immediately to hangout got blocked. Why? Because that is a trick of Catfish. They want you off the site so they scam you and not get reported. I'll pass.

They can con you for many days, have many photos, almost a profile, and even attempt to be like a friend, with long regular conversations over several days, but if they can't chat on here long, and keep asking to chat elsewhere, they're gone.
I mess with them, lie to them, shame them, and abuse them sometimes. Some try the forums looking for suckers, but don't say much past 1 post. Regulars on the forums are almost real humans. |
