Happy for Crystal, that's great news. :)
Feel like a bit of a control freak, haha! I haven't started work yet, my boss had the day off yesterday, she'll be here at 1pm today, and the HR Director has been in and out. So I'm basically sitting around when I'm not exploring the area. And waiting patiently to be moved to my more permanent housing, which I have no idea of when that will happen. I have a few other things as well that I really want to know, and the right people aren't around to tell me, gives me a feeling of being in limbo and a feeling of being powerless, big time! The HR assistant was able to answer two of my questions, but didn't know about the other questions. It's situations like this that help me get in touch with how much I like to be in control and how well I'm handling things I have no control over. Aside from a few tears this morning, I'd say I'm doing pretty good... well at least better than I've done in the past, lol. |

I used to have a lot of li'l planes in my home, model planes, made by my then husband who was nuts about planes and model building them. We ran out of space, haha. We also had a real old wooden propeller hanging up on the wall. Cannot remember what it had been attached to, lol, but it was gorgeous, and heavy! One of the planes was a larger Wright flyer, that one he had not built himself. And of course a Fokker Dr1 Dreidecker (Red Baron). I have NO plane in my home, huge grin. I did like cos he did, but after a certain amount of time you grow fed up with it hanging everywhere. |
