Bill Buckner died yesterday. I was reading up on his career, which was good. He was only 69.

Rest In Peace, Bill Buckner.
Sadly, most may only remember him for his error in Game #6 of the 1986 World Series. |

Yankee Luke Voit was hit in the face today by a pitch. I don't know how he is.

Looked like he was hit pretty good in his jaw and he stayed for that inning. I think he left the game after that.

I watch baseball with with my father sometimes and we make comments about the players. We notice more players that have beards, then my father told me about a baseball league from long ago called "house of David" where everyone had long beards. I was like, what the heck? I told him I'd look on the internet, and sure enough, from 1903-1950 there were teams that wore long beards. There were many pictures. I learned something.

I don't get to watch all the games I want to watch. I want to watch the Yankees. Is that too much to ask? I have to tell my father and he doesn't like it.

Just talking to my Dad about of the many baseball movies I've seen. - Bad news Bears, The Natural, A Field of There Own, Field or Dreams... and more. He got surprised. I told him that I like baseball.

It does look like Didi Gregorius is leaving the Yankees. Too bad.
