Topic: Women deserve the truth | |

WASHINGTON, June 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Concerned Women for America (CWA)
called on legislators to quickly pass the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act at a Capitol Hill press conference today. CWA wholeheartedly supports this bill which recognizes the scientific evidence that unborn babies experience severe pain during an abortion procedure. "Legislation and court decisions on abortion remain unenlightened on the medical advances since 1973 on a point the Supreme Court never considered in deciding Roe vs. Wade -- does the pre-born baby feel pain?" said Wendy Wright, CWA's senior policy director. "Political and judicial officers have shown great concern over animal cruelty -- it's time to extend that sympathy to our own children. To make an informed choice, women deserve to know that their baby will feel the excruciating pain of being 'terminated.'" The bill will require doctors to inform women considering an abortion 20 weeks into their pregnancy about the pain the unborn baby will experience during the procedure. If the woman decides to have the abortion after hearing this information, the bill requires the doctor to offer anesthesia for her unborn baby to ease the severity of the pain. "We're only asking for honesty," said Michael Schwartz, CWA's vice president for government relations. "When a woman is considering abortion, she deserves to know all that science can tell her. We expect doctors in every other field of medicine to inform their patients accurately; we can't let political controversy allow abortionists to hide the truth from women who need accurate information." A recent Zogby poll revealed that 77 percent of respondents agreed that a woman should know the scientific facts about fetal pain before undergoing an abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. http://www.usnewswire.com/ -0- © 2004 U.S. Newswire 202-347-2770/ |

i disagree with any type of abortion unless its due to rape or incest. i
believe that i woman has her options but y should murder be one of them. as soon as its conceived its a child. i dont care if it hasnt taken a breath, if it can feel pain, its murder. not only that but young gurls are told that its the best option but in reality it can really fuck a young girl up. |
|
|
|
i have to agree with sxyoneizhere. ive been in that position. if
somethin bad happens ex. rape or incest then yeah i believe in abortion. but if your just fucking around and get knocked up, then i believe you need to step up to plate and take full responsibility. |

Hi ya Sexyone
I agree that the fetus feels pain. But if that's true though and what you said that if it feels pain, then its murder, then we commit murder all the time against animals( Yeah I know fucking animals don't count right?) Well, also you say it's ok incase of rape or incest. So is that still murder? So murder is Ok as long as it's conceived due to a crime. No offense but you seem to contradict yourself. |

we kill animals to survive, so we can provide nutrition to our bodies,
ecbouton has got it right. if you fuck around and end up pregnant dont be a fuckhead step up to the plate whether u keep the child as urs or if u give it up for adoption is ur choice. ppl say that females need there options and their choices, but dont you have the choice in the first place not to take the chance of concieving a child? in a case of incest or rape, a female doesnt have much say in wats going on. but if shes stupid enough to take the chance its something she should have to live with, not be given the option to just kill it and make it so its like it never happened. wat these girls dont see is the aftermath of havin an abortion it takes so much out of a woman to kill something that came out of them, unless they got munchousin or something. |

Murder is murder is murder. Again We do it all the time. It's just like
we make rules and laws that say Thu shall not kill, yet in case of kill or be killed, we justify that. Right we kill animals to survive, but we also kill the unborn in case of saving the mother too. That we say is justified. What about in the case of stemcell research. Should we let the people who need the research just dye because we feel uncomfortable about killing the embryo? |

We have a righ to choose...we have fought long and hard for that
right..don' take away that choice..until you are in a woman faced with abortion you cannot and will never know how or what she feels |

My father's 1st wife died because she wouldn't get an abortion. She had
a hard enough time with my sister, and when she got pregnant again, her doctor RECOMMENDED an abortion because the chances of either surviving the delivery were very slim. Being the devout Catholic she was, she turned it down. Neither lived. That abortion would have allowed a daughter to continue to have a mother and husband to continue to have a wife. I may not be a woman, but I believe they should still be allowed the choice. What bothers me is the seeming LACK of priorities. Abortion has killed far fewer babies than handguns have killed ppl and yet the US constitution says you have the right to own a weapon that serves one purpose and one purpose only. And I know some ppl are gonna say, "But the babies are innocent." How many innocent ppl have been murdered by handguns in the US, just today alone??? It's economics ppl...Gun manufacturers provide jobs and thus provide part of the tax base. Abortion kills off potential taxpayers. These 2 issues may not seem connected but the right to bear arms seems to make redundant, any other human rights. |

Right poet. It's all about personal choice. But then we have to live

Trust me I speak from experience it is not an easy choice to make much
