Sometimes (not always) I feel like men need to be taken care of. Women can tolerate a lot of pain, men often turn into babies.. Women are supposedly able to handle divorce, children and finances where men just "let it happen" This does NOT mean ALL men.... only some. But I think my emotional rating is a 7 or 8 while my former relationships, the men were at a 4.

I don't think men put as much emotion into a relationship as a woman does. Probably less emotional involvement as we age and have had relationships go nowhere or fall apart.
As for needing someone to take care of them, there are lots of people in both genders that need that. That constantly having to look after someone gets really old and becomes a constant irritation in life. |

Ah, someone read the poem! I found that when I was a kid in a church bulletin. Author unknown it said. Many people loved it over the years.
I'd say I have very high emotions as always. Despite growing older we all must face the truth now and again out our well being. It's not always a pretty picture. I face eye surgery in the coming weeks. But hey, they say I'll be better than I have been in a lifetime! Let's hope so. MKgentleman, I read from you often

Everything is good from what I can see... oops, well, I did put those drops in my eyes to clear things up a bit. Getting nervous. Wonder what it's like looking out of one good eye and one bad... but I'll know very soon ... until the second surgery. I need to go chill. Sending a hug your way. |

well put. lost my wife of 30 yrs about 5yrs ago. been trough 3 GFs so far, 2 of which are still friends+.
but realized that I wasnt ready for a relationship. soooooo....im just happily drifting on that subject. the rest of my life is pretty good, so no worries. cheers&aloha |

thats crap....sorry....but as we get older some of us realize that freindship and companionship are based on emotional availability and openness. who have you been meeting?
