I believe this is a trend among older men and I hear of it regularly. It seems to be a result of a decrease in sexual activity within a marriage as the woman gets older and postmenopausal. The other issue among older, single men is the inability to find a suitable female sex partner. It seems that older men who never before considered having any kind of sexual contact with another man are now considering it as there is no other reasonable option other than masturbation by yourself.

I think it means "regular" friend. A lot of people use abbreviations and it can be somewhat confusing.

You must have some very special women friends because most older guys I know do without even those who are married. The statistics I see indicate around 60% of older women are sexually active IF they are in a committed relationship; outside of a committed relationship, that falls to around 15% If that is anywhere near correct, 4 in 10 of married men do not have an active sex partner and 8 of 10 single men do not.

Also, having a great sex drive and being sexually active are not the same thing. There is a big difference between enjoying your toys and having a partner.

Good question that I haven't figured out yet although I know it wouldn't be my preferred choice. At least I'd have someone to go fishing and bar hopping with. The other viable solutions usually make you subject to arrest in today's environment. Maybe that perfect female bot will be on the market next year!! One that can do the domestic chores and be a good sex partner!! Only a matter of time.

Maybe the truth is that older, single woman who still have an interest in sex are on dating sites. That would help explain why there are so few of you on those sites. I know for a fact there are SOME postmenopausal women that very much enjoy their sex life.

I wouldn't say "stuck in a rut". When I reference an older woman, I'm generally not speaking of someone just 50 but closer to 60 or older. Most of the information I have found, indicates my belief on the subject is accurate.

If what you believe is fact, it would be very useful to see some actual data to back that up. It would be really nice to believe getting involved with an older woman will most likely lead to a positive sexual experience instead of the usual stereotypical expectation.

This is one area I would really like to be proven wrong!! It would incentivize some of us older gentleman to actually consider someone closer to our own age group.
