Topic: Nancy Pelosi displaying signs of senility, again | |

#Pelosi Suffers #Meltdown While Bashing #Trump at US-Mexico Border The senior Democrat can be seen fumbling for words and stuttering her way through the address that was designed to undermine President Trump’s push for a wall along the United States Southern Border. A video of the speech shows Pelosi struggling to speak coherently during a border press conference in Laredo, Texas on Saturday. *3 links & videos* https://marygreeley.com/?p=82038 https://neonnettle.com/news/6621-pelosi-suffers-meltdown-while-bashing-trump-at-us-mexico-border https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/02/24/watch-nancy-pelosi-named-honorary-president-of-u-s-mexico-border-region/ Interesting but is no real surprise! She needs to be out of Office, |

When the bottom line is money, it is easy to drum up 'emergencies'. Having read that first thread as recommended by Charles (OK, most of it, not ALL of it!) I think I understand American politics rather better. I'm quite surprised at the people who support the Donald. Hopefully the poster who believes that only 30% of the population support Trump is correct and you guys will get some considerate democrats next time. Seems to me the Trump is a successful (i.e. rich) businessman who thinks that politics is the same as business. When you're top dog in your business you can hire and fire at will. I think Donald has not learnt that politics doesn't work that way. You need statesmen to be politicians and Trump is the least statesman-like politician I have ever read about! I'm amazed he was invited to the UK so soon after election. Obama had to wait three years before his invitation. |

Considerate dems are few and far. Steve Mnuchin is only one of a very few left. It's garbage like penalizing people for not being able to afford health insurance, is what drove people to the polls. If we get to look forward to the likes of AOC and company, then I'd say we'd better get ready to wave bye-bye to the USA. You're making glad I'm old, and didn't bring any kids into this world. I don't want to see the tipping point, but I'd bet it's coming. It will not be pretty. |

MK - funny you should see politics Charle's way. I have a friend in London who writes the UK is in shambles. Wishes she didn't live there. as for Pelosi, she's the poster child for needing TERM LIMITS.
BUILD THE WALL *I have the right to remain silent, but I don't have the ability |

Can someone please explain to this old Englishman why the US has an 'emergency' that requires them to build a wall at the border with another country? Over here, I think very few people like the Trump, perhaps because he has been proved to be dishonest so many times, but also perhaps of his treatment of women. I guess we're more sensitive here about that sort of thing! To build a moat would take far too much time and money, so we have decided to build a wall instead. We don't live on an island like you, so people can just walk right across the boarder. |

No border patrol between the countries, no wall or moat either. And my daughter's dad, a British national, also is amazed someone like Trump is President, thinks he is quite the incompetent goof. That's no surprise though. As I keep saying HUMANS are not carbon copies, and there are all types with all opinions in every demographic of the world. |

I admit the UK is in a political mess, but it's a different country and there are different reasons for the mess.
As you will know we are in the process of becoming a separate country from the rest of Europe. Some people voted to leave "to keep the immigrants out". Not me! I voted to leave because I don't like the faceless bureaucrats in Brussels who make all the decisions. The MP I vote for has no power to influence the government because their hands are tied by Brussels. That's the important bit for me. When we have power returned to our parliament, we can make decisions about immigrants and if I don't like the decision our government makes I can vote for the other lot next time. At the moment that is not possible. The mess is caused by most of the government voted to remain in Europe but following the referendum they are now mandated to do something (leave Europe) that they don't want to do! They are bad losers and the cause of the mess we are now in. Why does the US need a wall (or a moat)? Is the US really being 'invaded' by millions of people from another country? I don't think it is that many, Trumps lot are just being selfish. There are refugees streaming across borders all over the world, escaping from a war in their own country. Trump needs to learn the meaning of being a little generous. After all he is very generous with the gold bath taps and the hundreds of Christmas trees he could so easily afford in the White House. |
