I've actually become hooked on a drink I made up myself, that I call cofftea. I pour about a third of a cup of regular coffee ( like columbian at the moment), fill up the (extra tall) mug with plain water, then add a Red Rose tea bag, and microwave it for a minute and a half.

Add some French Vanilla creamer to smooth it all together, and sip luxuriously.

I have a stomach intolerance to coffee.
Love the smell, but can't drink it.

One mug of coffee for me in the morning. I ran out of coffee creamer recently so tried black with sugar and liked it so now I don't bother with creamer. happy

I have myself 3-4 cups of coffee per day, always when I wake.
I like it strong and I do blend but the staple is Maxwell House.
I add 1 tsp of sugar, pour in the coffee.
I add a dollop of Irish Cream Liquor (currently Ryan's) and a dollop of Nestle's Italian Sweet Creme creamer.

Right now I can get Ryan's for $8.79 a liter.
By comparison, Bailey's costs $28 a liter.
Personally, I can't tell a difference.

The blends I do are Maxwell House (thanx dad), Folgers and 8 O'clock coffees.
I mainly do French roast or Dark roast.

After my 4th cup, any remaining coffee gets tossed.

The only time I drink coffee past my wake-up is when I am driving long distance and McDonalds coffee is the best (2 creams, 2 sugars x-tra large) but just regular gas station stuff or restaurant stuff, 2 sugars and 1 cream.

I have enjoyed specialty coffees on special occasions but mainly in the company of others, never on my own.
Dad, had to have a full perk on the stove all day.
(He had a perking pot with the bubble on top that told him it was done so he could shut off the gas to the burner.)

In the Navy, I had to make coffee for the team.
When I tossed the old stuff it turned the ocean brown for a bit (LOL) but some of the lifers told me to NEVER throw out coffee. Ya gotta make the new stuff "on top" of the old stuff or it doesn't taste right.
LOL. Yuk!

I actually had a life threaten me when he saw me heading for the fantail to toss the unused pot. Hahaha!

Military coffee: Holy shiat dude, yer brave! Hahaha.
