I was contacted on Facebook this morning by a few of the Members that use to be on here regularly..
Seems Mikey did not make plans for his fur buddy companion Cherokee. They are trying to find someone in the Lincoln Nebraska area to go adopt Cherokee since he was taking to the pound after Mikey passed away.. 
He refused to believe he would out live Cherokee and did not ask anyone to care for him.. breaks my heart.. Mikey had been battling Cancer for several years....may he fly high with the agels

The worst day of my life!
I will miss him soo much. I love him very much and now im trying my best to get his dog Cherokee a new home.

I used to be Animal Lover - just changed my name and picture. I live very close to Lincoln, Ne. what kind of dog. I know you have it...but i also know a few people in lincoln-- so sorry to hear this.

I also know someone in that area who would take his dog and it would be a loving home. Best bet is to talk to luv2roknroll last I heard Cherokee was being put up for adoption. I have no clue if someone has taken her or if she is still in the shelter... |

RIP Mikey, a long-time member ;-) really... I was just thinking about him ... how he was always so sweet ... and what he was doing this morn... what happened ... I just read had know Idea ... he seemed to keep himself healthy ... this sucks ... may he rest in peace ... one of the nicest person one here ... hope someone helps with his dog :>( |

Wow... I had no idea Mikey was battling with cancer. I am so sorry to hear this. what a sweet funny guy he was. RIP :(
