Spending hours on online dating site for finding someone to date is a time pass or time waste ?

I'm not looking for anyone.

That's not a one or the other question. It could be both. In fact, I believe it is both...

Time is like a fuse, short and burning fast.

I found my love at work.

I passed time on here. I will not say it was a waste, as I have found many people to chat with.

That said, Good luck. Only you can determine whether it was a waste.

Sometimes it is a waste of time for many people.

Don't Limit yourself to One date site.

Keep your options open to meeting someone In person in Your own city.

I think it is never a waste of time if we are

A. Doing something that gives joy to us or others.
B. Doing something that will help us or others.
C. Doing something that is necessary to reach a goal.

Applying logic alone, that judgment is for you to make about your own personal use of the site. Not one to make about anyone else's use of it.

It's like gardening. Some people do it to pass the time. Some do it to try to grow their own food. Some do it to alter their local environment, and change the wildlife where they are. Some even do it out of a sense of obligation or guilt.

I myself use dating sites to first of all, look for a mate; but as side benefits, I get all sorts of new understandings of how people think, as well as opportunities to improve my communication skills.

And time certainly does pass, though I wish it would not. Especially at my age.

Spending hours on social sites is a waste of time, even if you are yielding results. The point is to meet people online in real life. If you're just chatting, you're wasting time.

Passing time and wasting time are the same thing.

You will never experience 1 second ago again.
You will never experience 1 second from now.
The only thing you will ever experience is right now.

The trick is to use the wisdom gained from experiences of the past, in the present, to direct your future.

Online dating is a hard work, it is not easy for anyone to date someone in a few minutes. Keep going on, maybe you will find someone like-mind tomorrow.
