The distance shouldn't really matter if you care about each other.. Yeah, I agree...in theory but not in practice. I have found that most girls pretty much NEED physical sensation, or sex, in a relationship and will "move on" a LOT quicker than the guy to chase that physical thrill a LDR cannot offer them. I speak from experience.

From my observation and personal experience long distance relationship are for those who really don’t want a relationship at all. It provides them the illusion they are in a relationship without dealing with a real relationship. Perhaps a long distance relationship are safer or feed some lonely need that all humans have. The truth is nothing counts until you look in each others eyes and spend time together.

I don't NEED the physical part..I just need to know that I am loved by the person that I love..as long as there is SOME KIND of communication(phone email txt whatever..on a regular basis) I am fine with that.

i have a uncle he works out of the country.he is gone more than at home. he has 2 kids and is the bread winner he has been doing this for 40 year and is very much in love

I've done a couple long distance relationships before, they weren't too bad. They lasted a while too. I just couldn't stay committed. But then again I have issues with staying committed in closer relationships haha. It's a habit I'm trying to break.
