Tired and curious to how tonight will go

A little nervous but also excited about the gig I'm going to tonight

I feel totally blown away and very much valued! A volunteer worker who's been here for two months came up to me in the dining room and told me it's never looked so good since she's been here.

Then I over heard her telling the Director of the YMCA program the same thing and how hard of a worker I am... He said he noticed and I'm very pro-active.

To top that off I got a message from my old boss in the Florida Keys. They seriously want me back. He went to the CEO of the resort and the Manager of the Resort about housing for me and both agreed that they would like me to come back and are working on getting me housing... I'm not sure about the housing details yet but I feel so honored and appreciated.

Torn... I'm starting to make friends, relax, and settle in to my position here in Colorado, a part of me wants to stay, but another part of me would like my old job back.

Feeling exhausted and remorseful.

I don't often lose my temper, but ever since I was falsely accused of something a week or so ago, I've felt backed into a corner. Tonight I lost it over something small, only because the other side handled it in a confrontational manner.

Despite that, I owe an apology. If it wasn't for the previous accusation, I would have handled tonight's situation much differently.

I need to clear the air. We need to come to an understanding.

Not sure whether to laugh out loud or not: Some dude that I hadn't even talked to yet, removed me from contacts, leaving me the message that it looks as if I'm using Snapchat filters on my photos.

Now I got 1 photo on that site that I later on noticed had beauty filter on. I hardly ever use that as I feel it's total BS. I see women with totally smooth face while I know in RL they have an awful lot of wrinkles. I prefer to be real.
So I was kind of taken aback by the comment. It could be perceived as a compliment or as a horrible insult, haha. Trust me, I do NOT have dog ears on any photo, lol.

That actually really means a lot to me, cos I do remember when I didn't have that sparkle anymore (some years ago) and how happy I was when I saw it again! It feels good to know it gets noticed by others too!
