Hi. I'm new to online "dating." I may be going about this all wrong because I'm not looking to get married or a one night stand. I want a guy to go to movies with, shoot pool with, go to concerts with, try out new restaurants with and to just generally pal around with. I like intellectual conversation but I also like to be silly and have fun. I can pay my own way and I need someone who can pay their own way. So is this the wrong format for me to be looki for that kind of a friendship?

There is not much to do in Harrisburg and not any men here. I am within close to commuting distance to Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, NYC and Atlantic City where there is a lot to do on weekends and holidays. I'm open to driving a couple of hours unless anyone in Harrisburg can show me that there is actually anything to do here.

 I am shocked that there is nothing to do in Harrisburg and no men. It is a big city. Not like Philly or Baltimore but it is large compared to where I am outside Williamsport.
