I saw two candidates debating in CNN the other day. The Democratic candidate insulted older voters. The Republican candidate look at her and said wow you just eliminated a large percentage of people who are the ones who are most likely to vote. She quickly tried to change what she said.

Young people are more likely to repeat what they've been taught in school. But they are less likely to vote. We will soon see. My young adult kids aren't showing any interest in voting and I had a young black girl ask me if she would be arrested if she didn't vote. I don't see it working for the dems.

If one wants to see what the country will look like if the democrat's take the House and Senate take a very good look at the laws and financial status of California.

I doubt democrats are so nicely summed up by any ONE state.

government has both democrats and republicans, one is always the majority, but not the EXCLUSIVE party. And last I checked, even with republicans AND democrats in office, we still go through ups and downs.

As bad as this sounds the track record of the democratic party is tax, spend and over regulate. Unfortunately the track record of the republican party is allow business to price gouge the people and the military to over spend.

As time goes on the differentiation is becoming ever more noticeable and a balance between them is becoming less and less.

Kamala Harris and other prominent Democrats want to repeal Trump's tax cuts and replace it with cash payouts for the poor and working class

* With midterm elections 2½ weeks away and the 2020 presidential race around the corner, prominent Democrats are embracing an ambitious idea: Repeal and replace the $1.5 trillion Republican tax plan.
* The proposals would get rid of the tax cuts and, in turn, funnel that money into government-guaranteed cash for low- and middle-income households.
* Possible White House contender Sen. Kamala Harris announced a plan this week that would give working families up to $6,000 each year, with the option of receiving monthly payments.

---------------------------

Ms Harris's plan would punish those who earn more. This is a typical democratic ideology. The Presidents tax cut has energized the economy which equates to more tax revenue. Why do the democrat's always tax something good that is happening:
1. Tax and spend
2. Eliminate a positive that Trump has instituted (they're all anti-Trump)
3. Use this as political advertising just before the election

If they do eliminate his tax cuts congress should 1st pay back all of the billions of dollars they've borrowed (with little intent on paying back) from Social Security.

It's talking points. I dont see the DETAILS, on how it would work, how it would help, or who it would hurt (and how) , just a lot of talking points.

it seems similar to the talking points about repealing healthcare reform, potentially taking BACK healthcare from millions who had become enlisted since it became law. But the ACTUAL details of the plan, how it would work, how it would help, or who it would hurt (and how) have not come out and the plan has not yet been even enacted.

I don't think we should take all of the tax cut away from corporations. If we redistributed some of it, I think it should lower sales tax and property tax through federal grants. I think that would help the most people instead of just going by household income. Too many low income people eating steak and hiding household income. So make the steak cheaper for everyone. People who pay a lot in property tax, carry the biggest burden of supporting our schools and community. Let's find a way to divide it, instead of taking away what was the American dream.

These one time cash payouts don't work. It's just a bribe dems pay their voters to vote for them. Then, before the actual distribution happens, dems figure out who not to pay, and they get screwed out of it. Meanwhile, we get loaded down with job killing regs that cripple business.

Democrats appear to have an advantage in November's midterm elections, and Trump is a big reason why according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

All in all, Remains to be seen. This is a poll. And nothing but a poll.

I think most government investigations, in the course of law, HAVE TO HAVE some documentation and evidence to proceed ....

what it will prove or disprove is the only question.

I like your new picture Miss Harmony! ( I haven't been on here in awhile)

so depending upon the definition one is using to determine how well the economy or Americans do, the above provides more than talking points and media driven perceptions.

Of the last five times the economy saw more than 3 percent average growth were four of them were under D presidents, and three of those four times were also D congress

Im sure there are pieces and bits that can be focused on and picked out to show which 'side' helps us more, but in the end, its just not so clear cut as each side tries to make it when finger pointing at each other.

Dems struggle with Trump's approach to culture war

"More than seven years after President Donald Trump launched his political career by questioning then-President Barack Obama's citizenship, Democrats are still struggling to find the right strategy to fight back against his racially-charged rhetoric".

"After years of taunting from Trump, Sen. Elizabeth Warren revealed her DNA results this week proving her Native American roots. If it was an effort to take on Trump directly, it didn't seem to work. The president continued his mocking references to her as "Pocahontas" and she managed to offend Native Americans who felt their heritage was being used as a political prop".

At dueling events, Trump and Biden keeping focus on Nevada.

"SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, a potential White House challenger in 2020, are making election pushes several hundred miles apart from each other in pivotal Nevada, where early voting was beginning Saturday. "

"Democrats are dangerous, extreme, an enemy of the people". These are some of the words Trump have described fellow Americans with different political viewpoints. Meanwhile, Trump described the Saudi as "credible, our friends, I believe them".

Trump had almost 10,000 still outside who couldn't get inside

Creepy Uncle Joe had 193 total at his rally..... it is probably safe to assume that none of those brought their young daughters with them
