I am asking for prayers for all those slain and their families in Omaha yesterday. I did not know anyone involved but the whole state of Nebraska is shocked over such a needless Tradegy! Thank you all you fine folks on JSH!

And I only thought things like this happen in the part of Fla I live in. We had a mall shooting last xmas, 2 people died. Right down the street from my house. The crime rate here is so bad anymore

Some of these people were friends of friends.
One family with 2 children lost their mom.
God help these people in their hour of need.

19 yr old male, depressed, took an assualt rifle to a mall & killed 8,wounded more, then shot himself.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A gunman opened fire Wednesday at a busy Omaha shopping mall, killing nine people before taking his own life, police said. Five more people were wounded, two critically.

It is sad that somebody could do such a thing. Makes you wonder what is wrong in society with the last shootings involving a teen. My opinion is if they would leave prayer in schools, things would be totally different. I didn't have the Christian Life going to church every single Sunday, but we had prayer at school and my parents trusted in God and made my faith what it is. Some of these kids are from broken homes where they think nobody cares too, so guys, your kids do need you whether you think they do or not.
My prayers are with these families. God bless them.

So true "fun_in_sc". I pay close attention. My daughtr is 14 and I listen to the crap everyday about how things like this get started. Then yesterday she was on my space showing me a video of one of some kids she knows beating on another kid while someone recorded it on the cell phone so today it's being taken care of. As parents we need to consider what other children are doing so we don't end up with another Columbine. These kids carry this hate for a long time til they explode and then people go around saying how could this happen and I want to say it happened while your a** was sleep walking. Or tell them it's ok cuz I understand about the "that's not my problem syndrome" and then show my face again for the funeral of one thier relatives.

Reports say he had classic symptoms of deppresion and just lost his job and girlfriend, you would think SOMEONE would have been heads up to what might or could happen!
