That’s a good question. As a newbie here, I, too, wonder about whether meaningful relationships (friendship or otherwise) are possible on this app.

Never even spoken to a single non scammer on here. This is without a doubt the most fake, **** site in the world.

I don't know that I've met any yet, but it's only been about a week. I just found the forums yesterday, and if I hadn't I probably would have given up thinking everyone here was fake.
So thanks for letting me know there are in fact real people here. |

Just 3 over about 2-3 years in my small city. Not nearly worth the effort if your goal is to date or become physical in my opinion. Had it not been for the two successful (i.e..physical) meetups when I first joined, I would never have stayed. I guess I was "fresh meat" at the time, lol, when I first joined.
I then found the forums and stuck around. At any given time, there are only 1 or 2 women locally online near me. One is real, and a fake new one shows up every so often. Not sure why I stay other than for the occasional post and the fact it only takes a second to log in on my home PC. Oh, and sometimes I will travel and switch my location. I think my initial "success" has kept me here as well and makes me think more is out there, but as time goes by, at least in my smallish city, it moves painfully slow. And with a Republican to be elected President next year, I think/hope the political climate becomes interesting once again. ;) |

Met a handful of people.
Meeting 3 more. Maybe 4? Twas going to Alaska and meet a friend in October. Dreamed of witnessing the northern lights and enjoying Alaska itself. Perhaps next year. |

Welcome to Mingle Dinda... The REAL people can be found in the forums, there's others too that view the forums but may not post responses... And as i understand things, most of the others are fakes or scammers... Back to the topic... I've met 2.5 in real life (face 2 face), one was all about money, the other we got together for around 8 years and the .5 was a midget
