Lots of scammers, lots of flakes too. Not everyone who is fake is trying to steal, some just want attention. Some want your money, some want your contact info and data which they sell. Recently, I had an offer to spend the weekend with a gal. Said she would make me very happy. We had just started chatting like the day before. She lived over 100 miles away. Suspicious me, I said I'm really busy at the moment, this was just a few days ago, I said lets talk a little first and get to know one another. Too much delay and she is no longer interested. Lucky me I guess. Guys are supposed to go nuts when a woman acts available. If a guy or gal sounds a little too eager, its best to let them cool their heels a bit and get to know them better first. So no, have not met anyone, I still have a few thinking it over who have not said no but my expectations are that nothing will happen. Just based on the past.

I think I've met 2 or 3 people off here, nothing serious, ended up being good friends with 1 though until they got cosied up with someone then didn't want to know me.

I have met three real people in the short time here. One replied that she was already pursuing another relationship, One not interested and one blocked me in the middle of a conversation. Not sure why I was just explaining how I got from California to Ohio. I'm not that concerned. I don't want to be in another relationship that fails due to early misunderstandings. I'd rather just be alone.

I'd rather just be alone. Um, that is not what we call "meeting" someone. We all constantly get messages or replies but it may take 100 of them before even 1 solidifies into a meeting. No doubt it takes many meetings to find the right one.

Met one great guy in 2008. Married him. But he passed away a few years ago..so nobody recently, but I always have hope that lightening can stike the same place twice..
