What is good about a long distance relationship?

I do and I believe that the distance is not the issue it show much you trust each other

Of course nothing is wrong in long distance i've seen several people meeting online and now they're legaaly married...

I think it depends on the personalities of the people involved, the strength of their relationship, how committed each person is, and how far away from each other they actually live.

I have found myself in an LDR when the other person was a few hours drive away or a quick (1 to 3 hours) plane flight away. I have also found that not only are LDRs time consuming, but also financially expense to maintain. Out of all the LDRs I have been involved in, only ever one was what I would consider to be successful.

Would I willingly go into an LDR again? Possibly, but only with the right guy. We would have to be no more than a few hours drive or a quick flight away from each other, see each other at a minimum fortnightly, and it would only be a short term measure - 12 months at most. If neither of us are committed to move closer after that time, well there really isn't a committed relationship is there!

Yes. I have done it before. I will do it again.
A huge positive of talking before the physical side comes in, is you really get to know each other. Phone calls, Skype, messages morning and night, your relationship gets deep, intimacy is more than the physical.
And when you meet, you know each other inside out, if you are real.
