I always get surprised to see there are huge traffic in dating site , and there are people who seriously look for some dating in social media ( come on seriously :flushed::flushed::thinking: ) what happened to you guys , spend some time just to have some fun chill , don’t get used to it .. fun that’s what you can get from here nothing serious everything here is just time pass 🤪🤪:grinning:

Do any one really have a different opinion I would like to hear that :blush::wink:

Do your homework! These days a gazillion people find love via dating sites & Apps.
Take Tinder... I know people who've met their partner on there.
I'd like to try Tinder, unfortunately it doesn't work for me, I keep getting an error message no matter what I try :cry: tears

We're lazy.

I've rarely ever see a bar open at 7am on sunday morning. Sitting behind a screen, ( With a cup of joe) is way easier. I didn't have to shower, shave or even dress to be here. For all you know, I might be sitting here in female attire, or my birthday suit. It's easier, and I didn't have to do a thing to get here.

We spent no money, just lifted a few fingers, and here we are. It's better than spending the entire evening being someplace, and finding nothing.

Sounds as though you're in the standard sour grapes phase, that comes shortly after the initial excited-at-the-possibilities phase, and the confused-as-to-why-the-magic-isn't-happening phase.

This happens with ALL promised social and dating venues, believe me.

When I was young, there was no internet, so the recommended ways to meet mates, were to

* attend a church: only works if you want to hook up with a religious person, or you like hanging around with married people;

* go to bars: only works to find people who like to drink as a form of entertainment;

* join a sports club: great if you're gay, but since most sports are sexually segregated, not good for finding members of the opposite gender;

And so on.

Every venue has shortcomings and advantages. But in the end, they are all a crap shoot. Once you accept that, none of them are all that bad.

perhaps op's words should be taken at face value? e.g. he didn't get on to a dating site with a whole lot of expectations in the first place, they were as small as they are now.

I've been in chat rooms where people take stuff too seriously and felt amused, about the same way.

It's easy to click on here. The problem is finding someone compatible to date. Sometime people get burned out and stop dating for a while. Hours of texting, talking on the phone, and effort into dating just to be disappointed gets old. The truth is most people are messed up in some type of way.

there's that small chance that some dateables of your preferred gender are also there for the same (or no good) reason, not necessarily for religion/drink/sport etc ...

That's essentially what I was referring to, though you said it more clearly.

Yes it’s a convincing answer , but still I believe the most cases it’s been went wrong ..
