I don't know cat, I'd have to check the news. We've had thunderstorms and some rain the last couple days up here on the Island, but I haven't paid attention to the mainland.

P, you probably don't live in that part of Michigan. I was watching news and big storms going on. Oh wow, I just checked it out. Major damage in Houghton, Hancock, and Calumet area. I used to live there in 1987. I haven't had the tv on in a while. Guess I should at least watch a little news. I'm right near the Upper Peninsula, but the area with the flooding and sinkholes is towards the Western part of the UP.. about 4 hours drive from here.

No when I was living there, aside from a few blizzards. There were a few tornadoes but never in the area I was living in at the time. How about you, do you get bad storms out there.

morning all p you might want to look into whether or not you could step on and off the british isles tour.then maybe spend a few extra days in each stop area that has willing minglers. i know most of europe and i think gb allows that when using the trains. i know a bunch that did that. get a train ticket from here to there then jump off and spend a few days in places they like. as long as they keep getting back on head to the final destination all is good

morning Eric GB supports that, there's optional one or two extra nights in each location. I wondered how that worked with staying behind, basically you're leaving the guided tour part and finishing the trip on your own?
