Humans are complex has always been my philosophy. We compartemtalize each task, each relationship differently.
we can be totally amazing in one role or relationship and suck at another. So its easy for a woman to be wonderful with her children but terrible towards others, and vice versa, to be terrible to their children while being wonderful to others. |

I attribute all that to pride

I had no problem with my mother in law, she was very nice to me even after parting from her son. The son was the problem and avoied taking good advice from his mother.

My MIL was a sweet lady. The son was the problem and avoided taking good advice from his wife. lol

If it had not been for my Mother-in-law I have no idea what I would have done after my divorce.. Honestly she did more for me then my own family did... my mom passed when I was a baby so she was like a mother to me..
Took care of my kids every day I worked and I bought my house from her... And even I can say that I get along great with my kids spouses... Even after I got a divorce right up till her death 2 years ago I was invited to Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners every year~~~ and yes I went...
