Looks like a nice place! there is no soup culture there. vegetable dishes are minimal. but they make a very nice barbecue from beef. I do not drink wine. but friends say they have nice red and white wine.

there; There are Amerind type, latin american type, afro-american type, portugal type, spanish type, and hybrid type. and the colombian-type people we saw in the movies. slanting eyed people. and you know Brazilian type people.

I have met people from that area and culture. They are very nice people. My former boss in Florida is from Brazil

My roommate is leaving on Monday. I'll have the apartment to myself now, and..... I GOT A PROMOTION!!!! I'm the new Assistant Manager of the Inn that I'm living at. This one has 9 rooms, I'll be responsible for the place... basically the InnKeeper. My bosses called me earlier to go over to the other place and talk with them. They said they would get someone else to do it if I didn't want the position but that they would rather me take it, they like me and think I would do well with it. So I accepted the added responsibility... and the added salary! Less free time to explore the Island, but that's okay. When it's peak season here, it's bumper to bumper people so I won't want to leave the house anyways

before breakfast. then plenty of tea. It can take up to 1.5 hours. Muslims are starting Ramadan on Wednesday. for Ramadan, it will be shopping (food, beverage storage)
