Lu,
I know you are sweet and kind but if they do come back, get mean and get a can of hairspray with a lit candle and burn the critters crispy... |

Try the foggers and if you have somewhere to go leave closed up a few days. Then go back in and use the Bengal spray they may have powder as well. Leave it a few days and cone back and spray every 3 weeks. Bengal will get rid of most pest problems.

Scorpions in the house are not a good alternative. They also sting humans. A mate of mine in Germany had scorpions as pets, but this is decades ago. He said, they were harmless as flies ... aright, behind glass maybe |

I worked and lived in South China for 2 years and roaches were... everywhere. and they were huge. They would actually turn their head and look at me as they walked by... not one bit scared.
The only thing that worked was the room bombs.. a few applications. Just set them off and return a few hours later. I then got a cat and trained it to kill roaches.. and anything else that wandered it.. that worked well too. |

your right the spray helped a lot. thank goodness the situation is under control now. i hate roaches.
I have only one question how did you train your cat to kill the roaches, they run so fast!!! thank you so much for the advice. |

I got my cat " Zak" as a kitten and I would bring him to a bug when I saw one and I would tell Zak to " get him!!" little by little he turned into a great hunter. I was in a remote village, we had roaches, huge spiders and other crawling things that didn't know what they were. Big water rats too. Zak took ownership of the apartment and killed anything the ventured in. He would then proudly show it to me. In the mornings I would see the remnents of the fights that took place overnight I have no idea how many things would have bite me in my sleep if I didn't have Zak. |

I had a plague even the roach bombs wouldn't kill. so i bought some toxic liquid from the hardware (for roaches and spiders) that you mix up and spray every where, even in cupboards and wardrobes and along all the skirting.i sent family in to town to stay with friends for a day. shut all windows and doors and sprayed. then shut up house completely for 24 hrs.I could see them running everywhere through the window,it was also summer which made the fumes spread better.then came the downside. everything had to be washed, i hosed all the kitchen stuff down on the back lawn and put all the other stuff through the washing machine. big job but worth it

They don’t like the smell of bay leaves. I moved into a house with roaches and spreading hay leaves around places they like made them move along.

i helped a friend of mine who moved into a trailerhouse that was infested with roaches....
i brought him some BENGAL roach spray, and the results were AMAZING!!!! i have also heard that the praying mantis is a natural predator of roaches, and they put out a pheromone that will cause roaches to leave any area that praying mantis' are in,so you might try getting a few praying mantis' to keep around your house. |
