Guns don't kill people , people kill people; and people with guns kill people more easily. It works both ways, or it doesn't work at all. Unfortunately the father of the killer owned the guns, after his son had previous incidents, where a judge took the guns away from him but then the father got the guns transfered to him instead of his son. So then the guns were the father's. Legally. Somehow the son got his hands back on the guns. Deranged , mental people have ways of getting a gun. And Criminals too.

Exactly. And it is the law abiding citizens who suffer with stricter controls in all aspects of life under the pretense that they are being protected by Big Brother. What is really happening is that we are giving up our freedoms in exchange for security, to paraphrase that famous Ben Franklin safety over liberty quote. We are being duped by the higher ups and willingly enslaving ourselves. We are sheep being led to the slaughterhouse. Time to wake up and resist! Power to the people! |

I think their justice system will deal with him, as they should. I dont think they can really be compared to what happens in America, which has twice the murder rate, 25 times the rate of rape, and three times as much gun violence.
IF anything, maybe we can take a cue from Toronto. Perhaps it is easier to attain and use a vehicle, and considering how few mass vehicle deaths they have, that may be a very good thing. |

I believe I read a quote about the war on women had started and a reference to some internet group. Seems that the lack of sex or an inability to find a relationship is becoming more of a common problem among men especially younger ones. The resultant anger seems to be coming to the surface.
