What happened to dating the old fashioned way? You know, face to face, chance encounters, blind dates, dinner/movies, romantic walks, holding hands, kissing....
It seems people don't even know how to communicate anymore. What happened to intimacy? Hot, torrid passion and...dare I say.......love? |

Since I do not do the bar/club scene, I am very limited in meeting a woman. Figured this MIGHT be a good start. I don't "cyberdate" as you put it. I look for the "in person" REAL experiences. This, at least to me, is a forum to hopefully find a woman who would be interested in doing those things in real life..like the romantic walks, holding hands, etc, etc. I am new to this online stuff, so just checking it out. but hoping to find a woman to actually have REAL dates with.

On line dating just keeps everybody "holed" up in their little caves....they can be as UGLY OR AS BEAUTIFUL as they PRETEND TO BE. It's kinda chicken ssssssssssheyat....

Many here have found them thru the net. I look for good friends & conversation, which are also here. So don't quit & don't knock the net. I will be here for a long time yet. |

Even if you don't drink, the bars and coffee houses are a lot more fun than playing TIDDLY WINKS ON THE INTERNET...just my opinion.

If you are not into the barscene or whatever, I think this is a great way to meet alot of people..But after you have found someone you really like, and have talked to for awhile..I think it should be takin' up a notch...and meet.
Who wants to date their computer for a year?..not me..
