The Great Wall (2016)
When a mercenary warrior (Matt Damon) is imprisoned within the Great Wall, he discovers the mystery behind one of the greatest wonders of the world. As wave after wave of marauding beasts besiege the massive structure, his quest for fortune turns into a journey toward heroism as he joins a huge army of elite warriors to confront the unimaginable and seemingly unstoppable force. The film is watchable and I loved the creature designs. If you have Google Earth its pretty cool to see. Would take a long time to actually walk it. You can't believe how big it is.. how long. its right up there with the pyramids. P.S. Being from NYC I wanted to write some graffiti on it.. but chickened out... too many military guys standing around. |

Went to China...missed the Great Wall but not the Terracotta Warriors. Peace to my friends in Kashgar. Ni Hao! As I stated I worked there for a few years and got to travel around in a lot of place where not many westerners go.. mostly in the west and in the south. It is a amazing country.. the remote areas are so simple yet so beautiful and functional. I have seen wood structural carvings on houses in little villages that literally stopped me in my tracks there are some real talented craftsmen over there. interesting place. |
