Kid Rock Just Gave a Campaign Speech & It Looked Like a Scene Right Out of Idiocracy Kid Rock gave what could be considered his first campaign speech this week, and it looked almost exactly like a scene out of Idiocracy. By Matt Agorist - September 9, 2017 
kid rock During a fog machine-filled concert Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, Detroit’s Robert Ritchie aka Kid Rock gave his version of a ‘campaign’ speech. During the profanity-laden tirade, he bashed “dead-beat dads, wannabe gangsters,” women who have too many babies, and welfare. As the presidential tune “Hail to the Chief” played in the background, his fans screamed on in adoration. Wrapped in a flag, while grabbing his genitalia, Kid Rock laid the groundwork for his campaign — which is anything but consistent. As he pandered to every platform possible, Kid Rock managed to praise universal health care while simultaneously decrying distribution of wealth and celebrating “President Donald ****ing Trump” all in a single breath. “Call me a racist because I’m not PC, as if you have to remind me that black lives matter. Nazis, ****ing bigots, and now, again, the KKK? I say, screw all you ********, stay the **** away…It’s no secret we’re divided, and we all should take some blame,” said Ritchie to thunderous applause. Watch it below. “Ladies and gentlemen will you please welcome the next senator of the great state of Michigan, Kid motherfucking Rock!” As the lines became blurred between concert and campaign speech, one couldn’t help but begin to notice an ironically familiar theme. This theme is borne out of a 2006 satirical comedy by Etan Cohen called Idiocracy. Last year, Cohen, who co-wrote the satirical movie with Beavis & Butthead creator, Mike Judge, came to an uncomfortable revelation — which is proven by Kid Rock’s speech Wednesday night — that Idiocracy has become a documentary. |

I come from a place where Al Frankin is a Senator ( even tho not very good at it, or comedy) Jessey Ventura was our governor (did pretty good for an outsider), and remember Ronald Regan was an actor before gov of California then President of USA. I say give the KID a chance, he may seem like a phucking joke searching for attention, but a lot of things in Michigan need changing and sometimes you got to stir the pot to get things done!

I agree and that's one of the first things I thought when you put it up. He can play right up there with the best of em. Eric Clapton always invited John on his Crossroads blues bennifit shows. |

That's an interesting premise, how intelligence is all relative. Depending on who is in the room with us, we could be a genius or a dumby (dummy). The same applies to beauty. Surrounded by unattractive people, we could be the best looking or, surrounded by super models, we become invisible. surrounded by supermodels?

Honestly I wish entertainers would leave the Politics out.. Unless they are honoring our Military or those that should be then leave the drama out....
People pay to see a show.. Kid Rock has some good music which he needs to stick with... I don't see him ever running seems to me it is just all for attention... If his name came up on a Ballot most would have no idea who the heck he is for he would have to use his real name.. |
