I would like your opinions on how you can compare both presidents responses to big disasters.....

Obama supporters : he is wonderful and he cares and Trump sucks Trump supporters: he is real and shaking up the establishment so noone gives him credit and Obama sucks,, ...lets see how the prediction pans out,, too bad I can't charge |

As long as I don't have to listen to him,,I am fairly sure that like with most political things, he is woefully unprepared, but he is human
I have no dog in the race I just hope people do what they can when they can, whomever they are and whatever position they hold,,, |

In fact, the only time we didn't see the normal Federal response to a disaster, was after Katrina. |

Yep,thanks to the Democrat Local Authorities! Everything was in place,but,as usual,they goofed! What is sad is that the area that Katrina hit has still not totally recovered..... So something failed there... In the end I just hope that all of Texas gets rebuilt or cleaned up. But most of the clean up will be due to the People of the USA pitching in when they see others are in need. It is all about People Pulling Together When Others are In Need! Yes Trump stepped in and declared what was needed and even pulled money out of his own pocket 1 Million at that have never seen another President that did that.. So people can say what they want to but this is one time Trump showed where he stands! |

The local authorities called for all sorts of help from the Feds, but the people who Bush put in charge of FEMA at that time, turned out to be more dedicated to avoiding spending money, than to addressing problems. Pretend all you like that ONLY Democrats make mistakes, but the Republican leadership itself disagrees with you. |

I have seen fashion criticism blah blah blah. Trump dos just fine as any other president. He donated $1 mil of his own money to help. I have seen pwople say that isn't enough. He (or anyone) had to do it
