Topic: You Just Became | |
---|---|
Red flag lists, eh? I could write one, and lots of what others have said would be on it, but I try not to concentrate on negatives enough to do that. I have enough to concern myself with as it is.
All I really want to add, is that I would never ever say to someone out loud, that they "just became unattractive to me." It's illogical and unnecessary to do so, to my thinking, and ironically, anyone who WOULD say such a thing out loud (and I have run across a fair number), would immediately qualify for rejection under one of the already mentioned headings. Such as "narcissism" especially, but also "manipulator," and "rudeness." I wouldn't accuse such a person of nose picking while driving, however. Not without direct evidence. |

I would say....in a second....outloud
"You just became INCREDIBLY unattractive to me!" If (ie) someone said something bigoted. I couldn't remain silent. It's on my unacceptable "list". |

I enjoy over compensating with humor and delusions of grandeur. Claiming that I am buff while obviously just sucking in my tummy. I feel I have had positive responses to it from women my age as well as single mothers. I know it's awfully specific, but it is true.
But I guess a turn off for me is when white girls act like thugs, women who get drunk and make a fool of themselves as well as me, women who like drama and think I have to deal with it, when I have better things to do. |

Dismissiveness.. Airs of arrogance of being above the "trivial". Yes, it is annoying. Like someone else said, know it alls. Yet they're not bright enough to realise they have a choice, to move on to the next topic and ignore the topics they feel are beneath them. |

Being...
...pushy ...lacking in empathy or compassion ...rude and obstinate ...extremely ignorant ...a drug user ...someone who uses too much make-up ... Oh lordy....this could go on forever. It's easier to spot something bad than it is to focus on what's good. So... The most important GOOD thing I look for is a good heart. I can overlook a lot if I know the person has that. It doesn't make up for everything, but it can go a very long way. |
