40 years since elvis left the building! Did he influence your taste in music and do you remember where you were at the time and what you were doing? Couldn't see any other posts about him so hopefully I've not doubled up! I always called him Elvis Pretzel. Have no idea where I was when he died. It was an August night so probably reading or sleeping. Why does that newspaper article say he died at aged 12? Elvis inspired a lot of the artists I like. However, only a few of his songs are in my interest range. I don't really listen to him that often. His movies, I have all of them (I collect movies) and they're okay I guess. It was my X and her mom that were really into him. I took ole X mom in law to Memphis and toured his house. I wasn't that impressed but they were. |
