I believe I am not identical to my mother or father or any of my grandparents. Something changed through the generations and we all look slightly different from each other. What did that ?

Not evolution .

"We cannot create life from non-living matter"! is an assumption based on our current knowledge level
Yet evolution is based on life developing from non-life. A theory not provable yet evolution is accepted no matter. In fact, the only repeatable test tube experiment performed in this area was performed by Louis Pasteur. His scientific conclusion (used and proven in everyday food production) was/is that once life is destroyed it does not regenerate on it's own. One of the major reasons evolution isn't been rejected is because some people do not like the alternative. evolution is based on life developing from non-life First time I have ever read that? What makes you think that? Evolution is based on mutation by generation. Evolution also happens in non-life as in a mountain becomes sand, a ball of dust and gas becomes a star. Skeletal remains of coral, forams and molluscs become limestone. I don't reject evolution because evolution makes sense. The fact that I have a remainder of a tailbone tells me that at one time, my body style had a tail but it is in the process of evolving away. Its not yet completely gone. |

Evolution is still a theory, its not a law or fact
Evolution isn't testable, there is little scientific evidence to support evolution The whole Idea that man evolved from monkeys and apes? please. Why are there monkeys and apes today if that was the case? |

I think they can trace how some spices have evolved, those that haven't (some monkeys )for example didn't need to, you find this on some remote islands. If there is no threat and plenty of food there is no need to change! |

Chaos is chaos because we don't fully understand everything about everything everywhere.
The laws of physics are universal throughout this universe no matter where one exists. The first and second laws of thermodynamics are scientifically unshakable no matter what technologies we develop. 1st law: energy cannot be created or destroyed but only changes molecular form when used. 2nd law: (Entropy) Everything in this universe moves from order (complex) to chaos (simple). The foundation of evolution is that life has evolved from lower forms to higher forms: chaos to order. This violates Entropy at every level. The only reason some things appear to have halted or slowed chaos is the involvement of human intelligence. Even this requires increased use of energy and human effort. Nature by itself will always exhibit Entropy. Nothing can change from simple (chaos) to complex (order) forms without intelligent interaction. The laws of physics are universal throughout this universe no matter where one exists. Any you know this because you have been to every part of the Universe and know it to be true? The first and second laws of thermodynamics are scientifically unshakable no matter what technologies we develop. At one time the atom being the absolute smallest particle was also unshakeable, till it was shook. The laws of thermodynamics apply right now at our present understanding. They make sense according to what we have witnessed so far. They may be unshakeable but there is no way to know for sure until we know everything about everything. Science is constantly being revised as we learn new things. This violates Entropy at every level. In the process of living, entropy is violated the moment you are conceived. Chaos is nothing more than our inability to understand the order. Entropy is "A measure of the disorder in a system." A measurement not a condition. There is disorder, balance and order in the Universe that is measured by the entropy (disorder) levels. Disorder is what is set as the scale to determine the degree of order and conclude balance. That process of determination is referred to as "entropy". The degree of decay or disorder. While the human species is intelligent compared to this planet, there is a whole Universe of things we don't know including things about this planet, life and ourselves. People like to 'think' we have it all figured out but we haven't even scratched the surface of knowledge yet. We only know what we have observed, tested and applied. We are still relatively new at this. Even considering the basic species functions our understanding of the Universe is at most 2 million years. 2 Million years of our planet's 4.5 billion year existence and the Universe's 14 billion + years existence. |

I think they can trace how some spices have evolved, those that haven't (some monkeys )for example didn't need to, you find this on some remote islands. If there is no threat and plenty of food there is no need to change! so youre saying in a few thousand years from now Humans will evolve again, so what do you think they will evolve to? because progress happens all the time and there is a threat to food, water, the air, so what will the human race evolve to? |

No, humans need to constantly evolve to survive, we have evolved greatly over the last century if you look at it! Flying, cars the internet : but our evolution is more in the way of tools as opposed to physical now! |

The purpose of evolution is survival!

Evolution is merely a random genetic mutation which gives breeding or survival advantage to an individual over the rest of the population, so if it breeds, the new genetics are more efficient than the original, in some way, and become a successful population which then dominates for a while, and then another random genetic mutation may occur, possibly continuing evolution in another direction. It's not a "higher form" just a more successful form. Genetic mutation follows the laws of physics. No magic hocus pocus. Entropy still affects the organism at all levels no matter what. The changing body and facial traits of your genetic line, and down through your family tree as far back as you want to go, is also evolution small scale; egg/sperm combination and any mutations may be good and strong and attractive, or may be ugly or weak and susceptible to disease, and not breed. Many mutations are detrimental but some are beneficial and are kept going because of their advantages. Usually what's attractive to breed with, and what can survive the environment. I agree with this not because I am working an agenda or trying to prove my point. I agree because it makes sense. The human species has not been around long enough to determine if it is a successful species. Two million years is nothing compared to 450 million years. Sharks exist today, they have been a species for around 400 million years. Dinosaurs lived about 180 million years and are extinct (unless you realize that birds are dinosaurs). Human civilization is at best 200,000 years. Evolution is a reality. We have only been manipulating evolution for a relatively very short time. We splice plants and those splices evolve into new species, reinforced or rejected by generational evolution. We splice (cross breed) dogs and cats. Those cross breeds evolve into new species, reinforced or rejected by generational evolution. If we learn enough about genetic compatability we might one day cross breed humans and fish or humans and birds and those cross breeds with evoleve into new species, reinforced or rejected by generational evolution. |

Evolution is about a species changing to adapt to their new surroundings or however the evolutionist phrase it Progression is a human trait based on human inventions Apes dont create things, mankind does. because if that was the case Apes and monkeys would be creating things to benefit their kind?no. |

Evolution is a theory and a very piss poor one at that. It takes way more faith to believe in that theory than it does to believe in God the creator. I don't consider my faith or belief to be competitive. Faith is not a challenge of right or wrong, its a belief and belief is purely personal. There is a difference however, between believing something is true and knowing something is true. Sometimes, tho, knowing truth does not mean it is reality. |

We can't agree on everything boss, what sort of world would that be? Who would buy our weapons? Joke, I'm open to every view, Some monkeys use tools though, so do birds and other animals. Some birds have developed longer or harder beaks depending on there food! It's a pity that people are driven away from religion due to the violence that it has lead to. Not sure how this would be explained if the big guy turned up! |

true Mikey
but I have to say yes some do use sometime of tool but when I see a monkey or ape manufacture a bow and arrow then we can talk. |

All life is constantly evolving to the changes in the environment.
Its hard to notice because it is a slow minute process that happens over time. Gradually. Apes, monkeys and human exist at the same time and are different because while we share the same evolutionary source our forms have branched off the source in different body styles over time. Simplified universal phylogenetic tree Simplified primate phylogenetic tree Evolution is currently a Theory. So is dark matter/dark energy. So is quantum manipulation (while we have manipulated quantum states, we have not applied it to science successfully yet, but we are on the edge with research into quantum computing) Evolution, theory in biology postulating that the various types of plants, animals, and other living things on Earth have their origin in other preexisting types and that the distinguishable differences are due to modifications in successive generations. The theory of evolution is one of the fundamental keystones of modern biological theory. Charles Darwin argued that organisms come about by evolution, and he provided a scientific explanation, essentially correct but incomplete, of how evolution occurs and why it is that organisms have features—such as wings, eyes, and kidneys—clearly structured to serve specific functions. Natural selection occurs because individuals having more-useful traits, such as more-acute vision or swifter legs, survive better and produce more progeny than individuals with less-favorable traits. In the wild, mating selection is geared to an evolutionary advantage. The strongest bulls, the best hunters, the prettiest plumage. Human beings try to remove animal urges as a condition to civilization. We 'believe' we can be more than our animalistic urges, rising above the natural world. Our mate selection has little to do with species propagation. It has more to do with civilization and society propagation. For some reason, we have decided that animal instincts are bad, unwanted. We have derailed our evolutionary path by mating and generating progeny that have defects to survival. We supplement the survival of our defective lines with technology and medicine. We have over-ridden natural selection in favor of immortality by unnatural selection. |
