I always liked Depp's movies before Pirates came out, but I was still awed by Sparrow..hes so insane yet cool at the same time lol

He should have won the Oscar for it. Capt Jack is one of the greatest characters of all time. JD gets so into his roles. He had the Sparrow tattooed on his arm, the P brand is real and he had his teeth modified for the character. His films are great. He really likes to play roles in the 17 and 18 century. It fits him well.
