I used to get robbed a lot (18 times) and beaten up a lot (4 times ) then I started taking Taekwondo and got to really like it , especially the mental tactics part , but when you want to fight no one want's to fight you :( but travailing alone gives me a chance to practice I have been attacked twice so far once by two men and once by 6 men and won both times ! It's such a adrenaline high ! But I think if I traveled in a group the fun would be over :(

I was walking home from hop-kido class in Cali Columbia it was 23:00 hours , 4 guys pulled in behind me and two in front , it was a robbery/mugging whatever you want to call it they often end up with the person dead so you could call it a murder I guess . I got a big smile on my face and attacked the leader fast ,(I was going to kick him in the head , drop him and go for number two ) he turned and ran with the guy next to him , I turned around to face the four behind me and the were two car lengths away running away ! ID'e say I won that one !!!!!!!!!

I'm traveling alone since May 2016, but now I'm thinking to have a girl with me :)

I've been traveling solo around Europe for 11 years and love it! I get up go where I want when I want. I don't have to wait for some one who's tagging along to roll out of bed and slow my day down with long waiting times while they procrastinate over decisions over taking a shower now or later and so on. I like to move right along plans are made clock is ticking your ready or not I'm not waiting that's how I roll.

Treat it as a new adventure/chapter in your life....get out there and just do it, you will meet people along the journey. whether they are interesting people is yet to be seen, perhaps you'll keep us posted on your travels ?

Life is too short to wait to see what you want to see. Why sit at home waiting for others to have time off work or the money to go? Don't worry about being alone in your travels either, as you will make a few friends along the way. I did 5 countries in 4 weeks solo and it was the best! Why wait? Go while you are able.

Nothing screws up a roadtrip,

I very much enjoy travelling alone especially on road trips because I bring my dog with me. Lots of limitations travelling with a pet n tons of benefits
