You are asking the right questions. And very important ones. JC no one really knows where that name came from. The letter j did not exist untill the KJV. Yahshua means Yahweh is Salvation. names do not change thier pronuciation between languages words do. that is why if you ever have watched Billy graham say in Russia that he has an interpretor. he says everything in English and we understand. But the interpretor says everything in russian except for JC. but this name can not be true. Yahshua was born to hebrew parents with a Hebrew name. All the scholars will agree to this. but they still choose to use JC saying it does not matter he knows who you are talking to. Yet if you tell these same ministers or scholars the I want to call him budda they would tell you you are not praying to Yahweh. JC for some reason is sacred to people when the fact is it is breaking the 3rd commandment. When Yahshua cames back it says...Everyone who calls upon the name of the l-rd shall be saved. When this should be Yahweh the father. So what do you have. Everyone who calls upon the name of Yahshua. This literally means the Father is who saves not yahshua. He said he could do nothing of himself. So when the name of Yahshua is said you are saying Yahweh is Salvation. Telling the world who the true creator of all things is.. Amen, my brother from another mother! As to the original topic, Dukes, I believe there are many paths to the same place. If it is sincere and pure of heart, it will be heard. Go with your feelings and pray how you feel. M

I once asked my Baptist preacher when I was 14....what about all the people in other countries that have never heard of the Bible...do they all go to hell? He answered it's our job to all go out and try and teach them. Even then I didn't find that a practical or reasonable explanation. I believe you pray to whom you feel most comfortable and the message gets there regardless...I cannot believe in a faith where someone goes to hell over something they know nothing about. Do what comforts you and you will find your answer is my thought.

My largest confussion is this. Who am I to pray too? Some say the Trinity (god, jesus, holy ghost) are one. The bible says "through jesus we are saved" BUT no where in the bible does it say to pray to Jesus. GOD's commandment, is that "thou shall not have any GODS before me. Jesus says, he is here to do his fathers work ( not the same as he is the father ) Jesus says pray to GOD as he does " Our father who art in heaven........ So.. If I am to only have ONE God, and Jesus said he is not GOD, then I should pray to ONLY GOD ?? RIGHT??? Then why so many people pray to Jesus or the Virgin Mary isn't Blasami {however you spell it} Hi Duke, If you have a Bible, read John, chapters 14-17. It will all come clear, if faith in your heart finds truth in Jesus' words as given in this written record of those words. There is one passage that can glue together all of this and must be present in your heart for all to work like clockwork. Receive this in your being from God himself and all else is sustinence. But this is the key to the life that you will be feeding. This comes from God, not man. So, don't be deceived by any that says you are there without it, in so far as effective prayer is concerned with POWER. John 14 : 26' But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost ( Holy Spirit ) , whom the Father will send in my name , he shall teach you all things , and bring all things I have said to your remembrance , whatsoever I have said unto you. If he speaks through a written word recorded in times past and the word is true, it IS as if he spoke it to you NOW.

Did u know the concept of burnibg in an everlasting hell is a foriegn concept in the bible. The thought of the underworld is big in egyptian culture. Dante several hundred years ago wrote a play called "Dante's Inferno" which minister took ahold of to gain converts and gain power and control for them selves. Does this make any sence for a everlasting hell? Matt 10:31 "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. NKJV Hell was never more than a garbage dump or buried. Death.. Is Death life?If it is does satan win and has a kingdom. And has become an Elohim?...Blessings...Miles |
