I have a 2 ft tall fiber optic tree up on top of my computer desk. It looks pretty. I put it up on Saturday. Also my nativity scene is up. It is made of olive wood from Bethlehem. I bought it in Germany at an officer's club Christmas Baazar. I am playing the piano for our Residential Christmas dinner in a few weeks. Getting in the spirit. It's my 2nd Christmas in my little apartment. I am happy here.

awwwwww that's great donnar.
I've unloaded 8 or 9 boxes of christmas decorations so far and still can't find my nativity set .......  does anyone know where I might have put it

LMAO .. I hear ya teardrops ..... actually in our house it's part of the tradition. To fight the tree to even get IN the stand and then to have the tree fall over.
Actually it was kinda weird this year cuz it was SOOOO easy to put in the new stand we got .. almost seemed like something was wrong.

I LOVE 'my' tree. Click click and "viola". 2 minutes flat. Beautiful white plastic.

and I have 2000 lights on mine. Yep that's what I said. 2000. But its also 13' ... lmao

We put ours up last weekend..almost did'nt cause in the process I broke the stand and one of the hookie things on a branch. Thing is about 15 yrs old ...lol
After my temper tantrum of wanting to throw it out.... my 13 yr old son actually fixed it all up pretty in a extra stand we had...minus the bottom branches... makes it look like a whole new tree. I think next year we will get a real one or maybe a smaller artificial. |

Love real .. have never use an artificial for the family tree, only for the Victorian one.
Ours is soooooooooooooooooooo beautiful with all the lights on now .... and sooooooooooooooooooo massive.

THE TREE IS UP, AND THE HOUSE IS DECORATED INSIDE & OUT, AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.

im cutting down a 30 foot tree and putting it sideways through my friends basement and hanging it from the rafters lol, hes gonna be pissed lol,

We haven't started decorating yet..but it's going up this week! This will be the first year we can decorate outside.. we are looking forward to that more than anything else!
