No it wasn't... my forefathers would just go down to the river Club the woman over the head drag her back to the cave and make a baby..... no need to wine and dine her... or sweet-talk her over the phone....lol... oh if it was just that easy nowadays..lol Basics are the same. It's called making a commitment :p And when she was preggers, even your forefathers came to realize she was always right. "Yes ma'am!" Just think of Fred Flintstone. You think he laid down the law with a spanking or his missus? Oh dear... did I just invent BDSM Fred Flintstone? I think I need to RTFM. haha, please not back to that again! |

Was it this hard for our folks though?
Yes. Life is never really going to be easy. The perceived difficulties just shift for the same problems. |

Once out of high school and college the possibilities drastically reduce: much less personal interaction. Add to this marriage and divorce and trust (not desire) between genders goes down. Most people on dating sites are in the mid 20's and above and have acquired trust issues; though most deny or can't see it. Just spend time in the forums and this becomes very obvious. Unfortunately, as we all age our gender trust only reduces. Not trying to be Johnny Rain Cloud but this is reality.
