Did you know that if you cover ice cream sammiches with icing you have an ice cream cake?
Did you know you can make rice krispy treats with just about any kind of cereal and marsh-mellos? Topping a hamburger with pizza toppings is a pizzaburger and those suckers are good! Always let yor steaks get to room temperature before cooking them Always let them rest after they are done Keilbossa, rice, onions & peppers in teriyaki sauce is amazing Try this: Pump out some baby powder all over your carpet - vacuum. Chicks dig the smell (Note: Don't use actual ground up powdered babies, that doesn't go very well, especially if you make your own) Note: Chicken is NOT done till the bones stop bleeding I'm Just sayin: Crushed Ice, Capt Morgan Spiced Rum & Rootbeer Is Freakin Awesome! |

Pick up some of those ham steaks (Low Sodium) - the ones without the bone that come in a 2 pack and are about 1/2 inch thick. Take them out of the package and freeze individually.
1 Ham Steak - Thawed 2 potatoes - cubed not peeled 1/3 sweet onion - sliced not diced Dribble some olive oil in a fry pan and add a little worstershire and some malt (or basalmic) vinegar Put the potatoes in and cook on medium with a lid till they just start to soften (the color changes) Add the onions and a little real butter (stick butter) Add horseradish sauce & mustard (Spicy Brown) and toss to coat everything Turn the fire down a little - recover and cook till the onions and taters are done. I put a little A-1 into the pan and add the ham - cook that till its hot enough and coated with A-1/Mustard sauce goodness |

Basic Red Gravy
I Prefer it as a spaghetti dish but it is only limited by your imagination. In a crockpot, put some spaghetti sauce (Don't fill the crock cause meat goes in) Add breakfast steaks (Any thin steak in small chunks {about the side of a can top} the thinner the better) Add Italian sausages (Cut those into bitesize chunks) Or you can use cutup Brats Stewed or Diced tomatoes Peppers & Onions Cook till meats are done (Steak should fall apart easy) Serve over noodles or whatever Here's What I Do Cut the Breakfast Steak (Eye of Round) into can-top size chunks Cut the Cajun or Gator Sausage (Italian Hot Sausage Works) links into bitesize chunks Throw them into a Sealable storage bag with Fire oil (any hot pepper oil), a splash of Rice Vinegar, Slap Yo Momma or Cajun Seasoning(careful - they have salt in them), Hot Chili Powder, Cracked Black Pepper, Some Worstishire & Red Pepper Flakes. Seal the bag and mix the spices into the meat and set it aside on the counter (It has to get to room temp) Spray The crockpot with cooking spray Shake out some fire oil in the bottom (not a lot, the meat is supposed to be the spiciest) Add spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu no/meat) Add a can of diced tomatoes (I use Italian style) Add a small can of Button Mushrooms (Drained) Cut up a Yellow and a Red Pepper to bitesize chunks Slice some fresh mushrooms (about a handful) Slice a Roma Tomato into thick slices Slice and Quarter a Sweet Onion Put those in a bag with some Honey and a little Brown Sugar Nuke in the Mic for 7-10 secs (Just enough to warm the honey) Mix the bag and pour into the crock Pour the meat into the crock Add Italian Seasoning, Garlic or Garlic Powder Cook all day (in by 11am done by 5pm) |

Bake Bacon in the oven for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Use aluminum foil to catch the grease. Store bacon grease in the fridge in a glass jar with a lid.
I use a cooling rack coated with cooking spray to keep the bacon out of the grease. Season the bacon with brown sugar or cracked black pepper for better flavor (Use cajun seasoning = Awesome) |

Cooking Ground Beef, Pork & Chicken
Do not break up the ground meat right away. Let it cook for a bit as a hunk, flip it and cook it as a hunk on the other side. Then take a spatula or wooden spoon and break that chunk into smaller but substantial chunks about 1 inch in size. Add your onions, garlic and your seasonings and cover the pan. when done, you should drain it and you will have chunks of seasoned ground meat for whatever you are making. When you cook down ground meat in a sauce it gets small. It still tastes okay but there is no substantial hunks of meat to actually sink your teeth into. This way gives you a nice separation of the meat from the sauce while still giving you some cookdown. Try it with: Rice-A-Roni Chili Tacos & Burritos Spaghetti Cream soup & Egg Noodles Stuff it into manicotti shells with cheese & spaghetti sauce Wrap it in cabbage I buy my hamburger meat in those 1 lb rolls. I use a wooden spoon to split the roll down the center then cut it into chunks. Once I have the roll divided up I add my onions, peppers, garlic & spices. I dripple some red cooking wine & wortershire and a few drops of rice vinegar or basalmic vinegar then cover and simmer till the burger is cooked thru. Drain and add that to my sauces. Mixing ground beef and pork sausage is another variation. Ya just gotta get the mix to hold together long enough for it to be cut apart in the pan. You can also mix ground chicken with seafood meat. Shrimp, Lobster & crab meat is kinda expensive. Mixing ground chicken with it makes a little go a long way. |

Cucumber Salad
We used to make Cucumber Salad by putting cut up cucumbers, onions & tomatoes in a bowl of vinegar. It was okay but I make better. Here's What Ya Need: Cucumbers Sweet Onions Roma Tomatoes A pack of Mozzarella Balls Mushrooms Pepperoni or Ham Balsamic or Malt Vinegar Olive Oil Coarse Sea Salt Seasonings Here's What Ya Do: Peel the Cucumbers Drain & Separate the Mozzarella Wash the Mushrooms Slice the Roma Tomatoes thick then quarter those slices Peel and Slice the Sweet Onion into 1/2 to 1 inch bites Quarter the Mushrooms from the stems down Slice the Pepperoni or Ham to 1 inch or less chunks Cut the Cucumbers into bite size chunks Combine it into a bowl and use a wooden spoon to mix it up. Add a little olive oil and mix it up Add some seasonings (I use Italian Blend) Add some Sea Salt (I use coarse) Place in fridge covered for a bit till it gets cold. Spoon some out into your bowl and SPRINKLE the Balsamic or Malt Vinegar on top mixing gently. |

Fried Beef Kielbasa, Peppers & Onions Over Rice
Kielbasa is kinda salty. Buy the Beef kielbasa, its a bit more expensive but well worth it Here's what Ya need: Beef Kielbasa (any will do, I prefer beef only) Red or Yellow Sweet Peppers (Green Peppers are POISONous) Sweet Onions Roma or a hard tomato (optional) Zucchini (optional) Broccoli (optional) Brown Sugar Honey Worcestershire Sauce Red Cooking Wine (optional) Rice (and the stuff you need to cook the rice.) (I use those 1 cup boil bags) A little Olive Oil (butter optional) Raspberry Blush Vinegar (any malt or balsamic vinegar works) Seasoning Here's What Ya Do: Cut the kielbasa lengthwise down the center then into 1-2 inch chunks Add a little olive oil to your frypan (or butter) A few splashes of Worcestershire and a little cooking wine Fast cook the kielbasa. Set the pan aside but do not drain. Cut up the veggies. Put them in a seal-able bag with some vinegar, oil and seasonings. Add a little brown sugar and honey to the bag. Mix the **** out of it till everything is coated. Then, dump that into the frypan and reheat till the veggies are cooked. I like my veggies with a crisp snap Some like theirs soft. Cook your rice and put some on your plate and spoon the cooked mixture over top. Some people like it with sour cream, some with BBQ sauce and some with Hot sauce. Personally, I like it as it is. Maybe some Cajun seasoning...maybe The whole thing only takes a few minutes but it is something different |

Crock Pot Meatballs & Sausage
Spray the Crock with Non-Stick Cooking Spray (I use Olive Oil Spray) Add: 1 bag of Small Meatballs (you can use homemade ones or the large ones too) 1 14oz can of Cranberry Sauce (I always use Jellied) 1 12oz bottle of Chili Sauce 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar 2 tsp of Hot Chili Powder 1 tsp of Black Pepper (or Cracked Black Peppercorns) 1 pkg of Sausage Links cut to bite sized chunks (I use Hot Italian or Cajun but any kind will work) I add One 6.5 oz can of Spicy V-8 (fill that can with water and add that too) I also add a few shakes of Fire Oil (Hot Chili Oil) Set the crock pot on low and let cook all day stirring ocassionally These can be served as an appetizer, a snack or a meal. They make awesome Meatball Subs! Try them with: Hawaiian Rolls Fresh Pistolettes Mini Bagels Snack Crackers Baguettes French or Italian Rolls/Buns Top with: Melted Cheeses Bacon Mushroom Sauce Peppers & Sweet Onions Tomato Relish If you add Cumin they will have a 'Taco' taste! Use different seasonings and spices to adjust to side dishes or other entrees. A Pleasantly Spicy Sweet Treat |

Easy Stuffed Peppers
I like my stuffed peppers and I have a easy way to make them. I'll share it but ya gotta promise me you will NOT use Poisonous GREEN Peppers! Here's What You Need Four Peppers (Red, Yellow, Purple, Orange, Any color but Green!) About a Pound of Hamburger Sweet Onion Beef Rice-A-Roni (Any flavor but Chicken) (Unless you want to make Chicken Stuffed Peppers) Four Slices of Bacon or Real Bacon Bits (Crispy & Crushed) A Jar of Your Favorite Spaghetti Sauce Seasonings (Watch the salt content) Your Favorite Shredded Cheese Romano/Parmesan Shaker Cheese Here's What You Do Brown the hamburger in a skillet for one inch chunks. Add the seasonings you want for the meat. Add the sliced onions and saute those in the burger grease. Drain all that and set it aside. In the same skillet prepare the Rice-A-Roni to box instructions with the cooked hamburger and onions added. (You gotta do this after you brown the vermicelli) Once the Rice-A-Roni/Beef/Onions are cooked set that aside. Wash, top and clean out the peppers. Sprinkle the seasonings you want for the peppers inside (Sparingly) Place the peppers in a square baking dish Spoon some rice/meat mixture into the peppers add a light layer of the shredded cheese add some bacon bits Spoon some more rice/meat mixture in and repeat till the peppers are all full. Pour the spaghetti sauce over the peppers Spray some aluminum foil with cooking spray Cover the stuffed peppers with the foil, spray side against the peppers Bake at 350 till the peppers are done and the cheese is melted. (Appx. 10-15 minutes) Uncover and sprinkle more shredded cheese and seasonings on top of peppers Bake another 10 minutes or so. Serve with a crusty Italian bread Sprinkle the Romano/Parmesan cheese on top. Try this variation Its good too: Substitute the beef for chicken breast Use a chicken Rice-A-Roni flavor Substitute the spaghetti sauce for Alfredo Use shredded cheddar or taco blend cheese. |

Oh my goodness ...I am sorry tom but I totally agree with cat ..most of these receipes I would not eat ..theyare too high in saturated fats .. salt and processed meat ..all of which are a heart attack on plate... Sausages ..bacon ..ham ..pepperoni contain nitrates which are known to be unhealthy and Cancer causing . Better to choose lean cuts of meat and chicken.. preferably organic . Some of your recipes just require some adjustment .. need more veges fibre..and heart healthy fats . Less seasoning .. It is ok to treat yourself with comfort food but ideally should be part of a healthy diet. Of course everything in moderation, but Blondey I have been around 71 years, and still going strong, someone springs to mind here,James Fuller, AKA Jim Fixx, the man who invented Jogging, he died aged 52 1984 whilst out Jogging, what's that song by Ian Drury and the Blockheads, Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, and if I can add to that, and a big fat Curry. |
