Many people judge the look of a person but they dont know the really life on it dont judge the book by its cover

When dealing with people the cover is very important.

Not only must it be in your own personal preference range it tells a lot about the person wearing it.

It reveals sickness
Drug abuse
Alcohol abuse
Physical abuse
Hygiene habits
Style preferences
Honesty (dyed hair, lots of makeup)

While it is important to make selections based on the whole person, appearance is not only the first thing you judge it is vitally important.

Yes your right mate its not about the looks of a person the important isa what is inside of it

The folks who come in here could care less if you are GQ or Glamour ready looks. They are more likely to skip them as just one more scammer.

But yes if they have to bite the bullet and put up their pictures they expect you to invest equally.

That means actually writeing an actual profile.

Your profiles are not suppose to be a commercial mug shot but a mini get acquainted story about who you are to attract the mate you want. Not impress your friends or stroke your fantasy persona.

Most of the people who find matches here find real people, who date and live on a budget, many have kids and even other responsibilities, work, and are not anything fancy.

Of course you judge a book by its cover silly, I'll only pick a cover if its attractive to me or it has a title I'm interested in.

you have to do what you think is best for you. Some people don't do well on here without a photo up. Others do fine without a photo up. You can always give your photo after mutual interest is shown.

And then just be yourself and talk... you will be surprised at the results.
