What is the difference in making friends on mingle or someone off the street Maybe; in M2; you try to contact directly a person more easily because all chats are by writing. You must consider two honest and real persons. On the streets; you can join a person;but sometimes; the information you get is a little more limited;but you won't find always honest persons; they say all they want by trying to impress you.Personal information is difficult to get either by chat or person to person It depends really |

I was walking down 8th avenue in Manhattan one day in the late 70's. I was approached by this very friendly woman on the corner of 8th avenue and 42nd street who asked me "Do you want a date?" How friendly is that? Never had that happen to me on Mingle2.

What is the difference in making friends on mingle or someone off the street On or off the street, you can tell what kind of shoes they have on. And the sound of their voice, that kind of thing. Past that, despite adamant claims to the contrary, people are people are space-aliens. I mean people. They can be just as duplicitous or honest SPEAKING to your face, as they can WRITING to your profile. |

People feel safer to be more social online. I'm good in either scenario but online is more convenient.

The difference is the real friends you make either place hang around for years and the "others" are just noise in the background.
Oh you mean the diff from "Mingle" friends and "Real" friends ? Very little. The percentages of ones you want and turn out you don't want are about the same. If you can get around the distance that seems to be a bigger issue in Mingleland but California is a big draw for eligible gentleman a d friends who want to vacation. |

I'm from California and I actually chose to go visit some online friends in New Hampshire and Missouri last year as opposed to having them visit me. |

People feel safer to be more social online. I'm good in either scenario but online is more convenient. I personally see no purpose of an online relationship if there's no chance of ever meeting. |

i dont talk to people on the streets.. not that safe lol here in mingle you can be whoever you want to be and talk or not talk to anyone you choose. Even though i do talk to people along my way (i was talkingvto various people in the waiting area last time i took my sister to ER). I agree with you. It's easier on here to be who you are. It's also easier here to avoid conflict because ypu can just keep scrolling |

Face to face relationship forms and you know the real deal sooner than later! You don't know who on-line people really are !
