Topic: How important is height? | |
---|---|
Just wondering about the different reactions.
I've always felt short growing up, then after going to college and living in Philly I didn't really feel short. Now that i'm trying online dating I feel short again :( I'm not saying that height is the only reason I'm having trouble getting emails replied to with another dating site (i have a host of mental and physical shortcomings lol), but many of the girls want guys that are 6ft +, even the girls who are 4'10. And I've been told by more than one...sorry too short. Mostly from asian girls. Anyways, I'm not here to whine about it, people have their preferences and they have every right to those preferences, I'm just wondering what other females think about the height thing. 5'7-5'8 too short? Even if I am nice, witty, smart and write emails that pertain to your profiles? |

Hi Geek -- I'm only 5'0 so everyone (except small children) are bigger than me.
Height in a man has never been a problem for me; unless they happen to be shorter than me. |

My husband was 5" shorter than me....that was NOT the reason why we split up though...

Height is irrelevant.
I've met tall idiots and short idiots. |

as long as I can find her...it's all good

my last boyfriend was 2" shorter than me.....the only one who had a problem with it was him...

I'm thinking of a famous couple Dudley Moore and Susan Anton she was taller than he was

If 5'-7" is short, then I am definitely waaaay below the radar!

let me tell you this... every guy i meet iss taller than me wether i want him to be or not. Being 19 years old and being 4'11, i have always wanted a guy taller than me. i don't know why it's just that i like tall guys. and another one, the guy has to be older than me. i feel that dating a guy younger than me they are immature. beleive me, i know from experience.

I don't think that 5'7-5'8 is too short, but what do I know I'm 5'4 and the shortest one in my family.

Height is irrelevant. I've met tall idiots and short idiots. hehe, at least the short idiots are probably easier to ignore, they take up less space sometimes when these 4'10 girls give me crap about my height I just want to make some really smarmy comment about avoiding rug burns on their knees with height differential. I never say it, but it goes through my mind (I'm a real smart @ss and I have trouble filtering it sometimes but it's all in jest). |

I think that most girls prefer someone who is taller than them. Maybe they don't want to feel like they are towering over them when they wear heels??!!

height does not matter or should i say should not matter

im 5'7....and it seems hard to find guys taller than me...cuz i genuinely do like taller guys better...cuz they make you feel safe when they wrap you in their arms...you can rest you head on tehir shoulder while standin without having to bend down but as long as they make me happy...height wont matter....
But they must be older...i dated younger and that was a BIG mistake! |

I don't think that 5'7-5'8 is too short, but what do I know I'm 5'4 and the shortest one in my family. yeah try being 19 and having 3 out of your 5 younger siblings be taller than you. my 9 year old sister is and both my brothers are 6' tall |

I think that most girls prefer someone who is taller than them. Maybe they don't want to feel like they are towering over them when they wear heels??!! I totally understand, look I'm not saying people are wrong for this, and I'm not trying to be defensive just honest reactions. Please, no need to spare my feelings, I cry myself to sleep everynight regardless lol. At 4'10-5'2 a girl would need 5-7in heels to be taller than me. Go-Go Gadget pumps. |
