I still say that we shouldn't put religion so high on our priorities list.I say since we can all prove we're on this planet that should be our main focus.Next we should all realize that we are all HUMAN,subject to the same illnesses,joys,highs and lows as every one else.Band together as a species and help each other or fight amongest ourselves,never attaining the peace we all seek.This reminds me of that movie Gladiator,when we was explaining his Gods to the other black guy.And the black guy just accepted them as this fellows gods and nothing more was really said about it.Same aspects,different regional,social bearing.

I believe that I have evolved beyond christianity. I believe that I see God as the truly loving God that he is. My God is true love. He could never hate on or punish anyone for anything. God is love not hate.

There is no need to combat anyone. Combating each other just separates us more from each other. I believe in the unity of God. The biggest problem with christianity, is it's separation even of it's own people.
I believe that God don't want us separated form each other. We are just a part of each other as God is of all of us. There is the key.

We don’t see other religions arguing with each other all the time. It’s always Christianity against the world! That’s because they want to take over the world!

And like you say, even if the Christians won that battle then they’d just turn on each other, the Protestants against the Catholics, and so on, until no one is left standing. It’s a fascist religion!!! Of that there can be no doubt!

And they seem to be TOTALLY CLUELESS about this. They are constantly saying things like, “Why is everyone picking on us?”. Like they have NO CLUE that it’s BECAUSE they pick on everyone else.

Quite frankly, no they have not thought that I have a personal relationship with God and Jesus because I don't think just like them or act just like them. See, I believe in different doctrines than they do and am not afraid to dabble in things that are normally taboo within the church. I see the world through Pagan eyes, I believe in the feminine divine, I practice witchcraft, therefore in their eyes I can't possibly have a personal relationship with God or Jesus.

Please do not feel sorry for me for the hard life I've had. I'm not seeking pity here. I've only shared my testimony to help others understand where I come from and why I say and do the things that I say and do. I'm sure everyone here has been through some pretty hard times, some more than others. So, I'm not special, we all have our stories to tell. So many tell me how strong I am. I'm not strong... far from it. I do what I need to do to survive the moment. And sometimes I break... no I'm not strong, not at all.

as a christian, i understand wanting/needing to share the Word of God with others, but a lot of ppl on here go about it the wrong way. i was even turned away from christianity as a teenager b/c i was being preached to. (later to become a born again christian in college.) but my point is that quoting bible verses to ppl that dont believe in the bible or maybe even despise it is not working. what if someone on here were to quote the satanic bible to you to show you that your life is wrong? i know that your intentions are great, but i also understand how everyone else feels. i may rejoice in His Word when i read it but a lot of other ppl instantly put up their defenses and fight back. quoting bible verses is a lot like hitting them in the head with the bible.

im sorry if i have offended anyone, but if you want to draw ppl closer instead of pushing them away, how about showing some love? and there is nothing wrong with learning about other religions even if it is to gain knowledge on how to better combat it.

i usually try to hold my tongue on here, but this thread seems to be perfect. i have not blasted the non-christians when they have offended me, which has been often. but enough is enough already. both sides seem to have problems being civil to each other. (some ppl more than others. you know who you are. )

and for the non-christians, the same goes for you. please try to be respectful in your posts as well. you can easily explain your position without calling christians stupid or whatever.

to your 1st post the religious communities brainwashing is right on target. Why else would someone act as if they are the only one to have communication with our creator unless they are brainwashed. This may seem strange to some but you can be brainwashed watching tv. Remember when the movie theaters used to put clips of soda and popcorn in thier movies that you can not see yet your conscience did.Then you had a craving for pop corn and soda.. If you see you can not listen to someones point of view without anger comming in then you are brainwashed. The bible speaks of true peace (shalom) entering you when the Holy spirit has entered..
