Well it depends, you need to use your feelings in moderation. Being open and expressing your feelings is a good thing. But once you know that you are basically complaining for attention is crossing the line. I am always a supporter of opening up to people just not too much.

Society on a whole believes men are the ones who are supposed to be strong and in control of themselves and situations around them at all times. Any deviation from this persona is seen as weakness. Women are allowed ot be the emotional wrecks in fact it is in most relationships expected.

You're right, what we think of you here will have absolutely no bearing on you when you shut off this computer. But it's amazing the friendships that can be built in these little boxes. They can carry you thru rough times, online and off. If you live inside a box, you won't experience all life has to offer. see, i decided to tell him the truth, and maybe he doesnt like it, but! the thing is that maybe hell learn from it. and if he does, then it was worth my time to go through this for the past 30 mins. in the end maybe hell snap out of it and see that a pity party isnt the way to go.

did it ever occur to you to just say your piece and drop it..........i have a nine year old son and i always tell him if you have nothing nice to dsay keep your mouth shut.....and never pick on those younger and or less intelligent than yourself (or those you believe to be less intelligent) you may wish to bear this in mind.....he's 18 leave him alone he will come to the realiziations you wish to shove down his throat in due time.....and if he doesn't will it really affect the rest of your life
